Not Just DV & Amoli.....

While I have been waxing lyrically about DV… because… well because (Oh come on… all of you know the reason why), I think there are few other characters that should get their due… Kajri being one of them. While I don't know the name of the actress who plays kajiri (not the first, but the second one). I loved her. I loved the spunk of this character. She is first bound by her traditions and the burden of being a woman who may be ostracized by society. She fears DV initially but his one act during the wedding clears her mind and she decides to fight. Knowing that fighting is futile, she then decides to mount another mode of attack. There is a saying that suits her aptly "Keep your friends close. But keep your enemies closer". She is aware that she has very few options so she makes use of what is available. A woman after my own heart. I don't think that in real life, I could ever be an Amoli…I doubt I have that amount of perseverance. But kajiri… I understand her resolve to win within the parameters of her choices. Her mission not only to avenge herself, but to help DV, Amoli and the family any way that she can. She even ends up being DV's voice of reason when he runs to kill Puneet. She realizes that DV's bark is worse than his bite and calmly advices DV to keep let his anger go and keep trying with Amoli.

And her deelings with Puneet… superb. I had a smile anytime she had a conversation with Puneet. The way she keep starting sentences with "Mei aapki patni hoon.. mei kyon aapki burai chahoongi" - classic. The moment she says "swami…" I smile.

I think the actress completed this role…..I was hoping for a better character development here…

Lets not forget Puneet.
He did provide for a lot of twists....not to mention comic relief!

she was witty and clever which i found amusing to watch. really awesome character - shades of humor in pain was definition for kajri. although i would say it was sad to see her as widow in the end. would have been nice if she found the right person"

thanks very much your beautiful made a picture of a character i can only says bairi piya basicially belong to watch even every single character so adoreble and somehow sometimes we couldnt believed on our eyes its real or we are watching serial very natural it h as been a very big reason bp has been very near to our hearts
