Mihir's Actions/Reactions: Today's Episode

I truly do hate Mihir now, not only because of what he did to Akaashi, but also because of what he is doing to Purva. She was the one that supported him in everything that he did, and just because she disagreed with him once, just once, he decides to be so rude to her, and ignore her. Purva did so much for that family, yes I do agree that the way she married Mihir was wrong, but still, she's still taking care of Prem as if he was her own and it's not right on Mihir's part to forget all the good things she has done and be so rude. I felt truly really bad seeing Purva all sad, because of Mihir's rejection. And the fake happiness she showed when Anokhi asked if everything was ok in today's episode, that was not right either. The way he treated her today was, simply put, like crap. Not at all the way she deserves to be treated. For heaven's sake, they are married, they're supposed to have disagreements and they're ALSO supposed to be able to calm down and understand each other. Not act like an immature 5 year old who doesn't even know how to deal with a situation properly and can't confront anyone calmly, without showing any anger.

A small part of me does recognize that he's trying to look out for Akaashi, but the way in which he is trying to do so, forcing all his opinions upon her, even in issues regarding her life, doesn't seem correct to me. The woman is an adult, she can make her own mistakes, and her own right choices. Why he agrees to Akaashi befriending Shamal and not Kshitij is beyond me at the moment also, Kshitij, the well-educated, more informed one, turned her away when she needed him the most. What's the guarantee that he won't do that once again if ever such a situation rises?

Overall though, in my opinion Mihir is someone who wants everything done his way. Whether it comes to making decisions for Akaashi, being angry with Purva, I feel like he doesn't recognize and admit his mistakes or refuse to see the other side in any given situation. As a lawyer, he should be able to detect both sides of an argument and actually comprehend what is going on. But he didn't do that at all in any of the episodes this week, and seeing the precap was the final straw.

--> I do recognize that it is a tv show, and I actually applaud the CVs for showing Mihir like this, because it does add to the drama quotient and honestly it's making the story very interesting for me, seeing how Mihir-Purva and Akaashi-Shamal react to the situations between the four of them.

Maybe it's just me though, but I feel like this breach between Mihir and Purva is just going to grow in the future episodes. I'm actually quite interested in seeing how this track will go.

So Any thoughts everyone? How did you react? What do you think about how Mihir is treating everyone, how he treated Purva and Akaashi? Do you think he's justified, is he right? Or not?

I felt bad for Purva too, Mihir is just a big bully who wants things to go his way only. Purva needs to stick to her decision to support Akashi, why should her and her sister's happiness suffer for Mihir? Purva needs to fight back

I completely agree. Purva should definitely stick to Akaashi's decision, she should realize that her sister's best interests lie with Shamal, not in listening to the advice of Mr. Mihir Sanghvi, who's just set out once again to hand her over to the 🤬 she escaped from in the beginning aka Kshitij.

And yeah, I think Purva is beginning to understand that Akaashi is happier with Shamal, and she has always maintained that she will do anything for her sisters and their happiness, so hopefully she sticks with this decision.

mihir is a disgusting person....
i hate him to core of my heart....
he have no rights to make decision on akashi life.....and he needs to learn that he can't judge a book by its cover only.....
he is a level-headed man....he have no respect for the poor.....no wonder shamar hates him so much...he is too arrogant because he is a famous lawyer.....
shamar is a person who will be nice if they are nice to him.....if the person is nasty to him...he too will be nasty to the person....thats what shamar attitute all is about.....mihir is always nasty to him thats the reason why he is nasty to mihir.....in the needed time shamar can beat the kraps out of mihir...but he doesn't because somewhere deep down he respect mihir alot.....

I agree with everyone's opinions about Mihir😊

Initially I was thinking that Mihir is genuinely concerned about Akashi ending up with a 'bad' man and wanted her future to be good, .....but what I dont understand is why is he forcing or almost commading her to listen to him..and he wants her to end up with Kshitij🤪

Purva understands her sisters much much better than Mihir, so when Purva says that "when Akashi decides to take up something, no one can stop her", why he is sooooo upset as to not eat food, ignore her call, or stop speaking with Purva. What has she done??? What does he want Purva to do......shout bad at Akashi, beat her, or lock her up in the room, or stop giving her food till she agrees to marry Kshitij??😡
Yes any elderly person in Mihir's place will feel Akashi is chosing the wrong person, but Akashi is almost 24-25 years and when Purva knows it is not possible to change her plan, he must sit and camly talk with Purva and Akashi, and discuss with Shamal and his family and plan future.
He is becoming quite possessive, short-tempered, cruel, and trustless with his near and dear ones😡....It looks there is going to be strained relationship btw the sisters and Mihir now becoz he is not going to accept Shamal right away.😕

I loved reading your post....I'm not disagreeing but just putting up some facts....
I think Mihir is a normal man; He treats Akashi more like his own child after her parent's death....I think becoz of that he's becoming so frustrated...He feels that Kshitij would be best as he is used to see only the wrong side of Shamal...Also Shamal isn't rich either nor does he has eduaction....He thinks more like a norman man...He became angry with Purva only because she didn't support him when he thought she would....
But he is ignoring the fact that Akashi is married and is grown up, old enough to take her own decissions...His over concern may be the reason...Even I too want Akashi with Shamaldas....He thinks people can't change especially those like Shamaldas...He feels Kshitij to be educated, rich and also he even asked sorry for what he has done...What any normal man would think....But I want him to think the way Akashi thinks and treats people equally, either rich or poor, either educated or not....I think in future, he may realize that Shamal has changed and would accept them as a couple.....😊

i loved reading this post...and I do appreciate that you put out your thoughts in disagreeing....and i have to say, i definitely do understand your perspective. he does love akaashi, no doubt about that, and he cares for Purva and her sisters a lot. And in all truth, I do see why he has misconceptions about Shamal, it's understandable, as he hasn't gotten to know Shamal as well as Akaashi has. That's why everyone misunderstands him.

What angers me, is that he doesn't even make an effort to get to know him, to listen to Akaashi's side of the story, understand truly what kind of a person Shamal is. It's unfair to both Akaashi and Shamal, who actually want to give their relationship a shot.

But either way, you did make valid points..and I do see your side of the coin😃

😛Yeah....Even I too felt a bit frustrated at Mihir after he denies Shamal from meeting Akashi....not only that he's trying to hurt Shaml more and more by saying that he's unworthy to have her as his wife....But such an attitude is normally shown by a girl's father in daily soaps....Here Mihir has taken up that job too....😆....But I want him to yell at Akashi....😳....coz, the more he yells the more Akashi will get closer to Shamal☺️

hehe i completellly agree with you😆😆 it was definitely wrong on mihir's part to push away shamal, but im so happy that akaashi was actually there for the entire situation....im sososo happy that the cvs didn't make this a typical serial where akaashi and shamal both think the other wants the divorce and they spend their lives pining away for each other😆😆

hahahaha. mihir has taken up too many roles in his life and now his brain is running into traffic jams! he needs to clear the roads....🤣

and aww great point! i love how akaashi continues to defend shamal, and as long as mihir continues hurling the accusations, akaashi will continue defending him😃😃

but i do dislike the way he's treating purva...but maybe im the only one who actually feels bad for her in this situation...idk😆

You know😆, Akashi bhabi is not an ordinary woman, she's a superwoman😆😆.......Just a sound of his roar😆 , and she's there within a wink of an eye....Embarrassed😆.....Here too, Shamad and Mihir were shouting at the top of their vocal ability and none except Akshi heard it😆😆😆.....The entrance isn't that long from the hall still.....😆.....
That Mihir🤣.....he's gaining so much of bad marks from us, viewers....
