She fell on his feet, begging to be heard. With that one gesture, she showed Maan, how much she loves him, respects him, trusts him, and wants him to know who the real Geet is. The moment she sat down, his expressions changed, he was not expecting it, that's for sure. Not from Geet '. A woman, who has sooo much honor, who has always stood by her rights, who has a sort of high ego, fell on his feet ' I saw those colors on his face, as if he was struck by the realization of her immense love for him; and he couldn't bear the sight. He closed his eyes at the revelation, lived it for a few moments and then bent down to lift her up. For a moment I felt, he would hug her, take her in his arms and comfort her, but this time Geet was not ready. She pushed his hands away, because she knew, he had given her that once chance ' the chance she needed to speak her truth. She started and he went through all ups and downs of his life in that one moment.
And then that one statement Maan made which broke Geet down; left her speechless; and compelled her to leave him right then.
"mein nay socha tha tum sirf meri ho Geet '. Mein nay socha that um sirf meri ho."
She looked up, saw a strange kind of regret in his eyes and decided to walk out of his life forever. Good decision, sometimes it is extremely necessary to make such decisions because they help us keep our prestige and self-respect intact.
I know a lot of people are blaming Maan for such an insensitive statement or for doing this to her. But life is not all that simple guys. Is it like a toy, chabi bharo, aur chala lo, right moro tu right ho jayay, left moro tu left. Is your life that simple???? Than why? Why o why do u expect Maan's life to be that simple. Every good decision needs time and thoughts, and when he thought about it, he decided to stop Geet. So why do we only talk about that one moment.
She told him she was married once ' and that moment he lost all the remaining rights on her. He thought he still had his rights on her, he thought in the heart of his heart that she still belongs to HIM; his love compelled him to think so. But, marriage??? Isn't that an ownership statement? He was distraughted that he (Maan Singh Khurana) fell in love with someone's WIFE.
Please remember, she told him about her marriage, but she never told him that her fake husband was already married. She said, it was a jhooti marriage, but she never explained why or how ' and so, before he could register anything, these words blurted out ' "mein nay socha that um sirf meri ho Geet." tu kya bura kiya '. He found out she was married, she belonged to someone else, she was not his, she never was. And he also knew right then, he would never be able to stop loving her ' oh what a misery, what anguish, what hurt she has given him for all his life. And this is what I felt he felt at that moment:

Her pregnancy was a BIG truth revealed to him ' but what do you think, wasn't her marriage a big truth as well. All along, he was thinking she had an affair with a guy, not once did it cross his mind that she could have been married. So aren't we talking about another shocker here '. Another shock of his life, that he was truly, madly, deeply, passionately, in love with somebody's wife ' wow, now that can be life-shattering. Bari mushkil say he had learned to come to terms with her pregnancy and now marriage '. I expected a same kind of reaction from him. I really did.
I like the way Geet decided right then to leave, because that was necessary for her self-respect and her love for him. She was walking away and his heart was breaking. He can't let her go. He knew, he had made the gravest mistake of his life. She left and he was torn between his own thoughts. He realized right then he should have given her a chance ' but that perfectly fine Maan. You are human, and I am willing to give you this chance. Not because I am your diehard fan, but because I have seen life, I have seen its terms, I have seen how harsh it can get, and I have seen that there are many things in life which can never be planned. I have seen, some truths are strong enough to shake our whole beings, I have seen some realities are cruel enough to change our personalities; I have seen some revelations are harsh enough to make us do things we regret later. I have seen it, and there, I am standing by you.
Why I said what I said above, because I loved the fact that he realized his ignorance and ran after her. Running all around, begging adi and pinky to tell him Geet's whereabouts. He wanted to stop her, to tell her he was sorry, and if necessary, beg her for forgiveness. Thank you Maan for keeping up with your integrity, honesty, fairness and intelligence. You knew what you had to do and you went out for it. In time, Geet will understand as well.
And this one if just for Maan and Geet. They both feel the same for each other.
