Bonjour Lovely Ladies…..
Welcome back to to the House of Love….Maison L'amour……
Love……is definitely in the air At Max-MAAN-Maison…..
And much like a wild rose, beautiful and calm it was in the beginning
but willing to draw blood in its defense now…..as we all privy to in the Hum-Tum-Kamara-Baand-scenario!
A-Ha *rubbing my hands* Right, so what are we doing today?
Something easy on Palate & Poise, so Presenting
~Pink Praline Chocolate Cake~
I realize that Pralines, like Love, can be a confusing thing, considering that the same pretty word (It would make a cool name for a little girl, no? Or would this ruin her life you think?) is used for different confections..…..& context!
The original praline is made by cooking almonds in melted sugar……
One Bland but strong Other Saccharin sweet…but errr cloying??
Put these two antithetical Ingredients together to form lip-smacking crust of crispy chewy caramel around the tender almond.
You Know I always wonder how the meeting of two personalities is like the contact of two chemical substances: fuse them together & if there is any reaction, both are transformed!!!
In Max-MAAN-Maison there has been Plenty of action & subsequent Reaction……
& We are beginning to witness Transformation..…….
Such as those precious Tears…..
Those Tears were words MAAN's heart was unable to express…but neither can he suppress
Those tears were the silent language of his grief!
And even though MAAN's love is NOT blind by any standards…..
I think his LOVE sees more, not less.
But because it sees more, it is willing to see less! Confused?? Good! That was the idea!
One of the Most unique difference in these Pralines is that the sugar surrounding the almond is not caramelized…
The sugar has NOT been burned on high temperatures..……*sigh*
I see how Geet has been scorched in the past, But MAAN, even in his angry Avaatar is not scathing or searing Geet with his very Credible Anger!
We see Geet is rising up to MAAN…..but she STILL have to scale great heights…..
To begin, she is responding to the fact that Love is everything it's cracked up to be & that it's really is worth fighting for, being brave for, risking everything for..….ATTA GIRL!!!
This Non-Carmalized feel gives these pink praline & MAANeet's Love story a unique kind of texture,
Your teeth meet a slight resistance at first……….a bit of hamming & hawing, then fury & now Melancholy.
BUT….. the powdery sugar coating quickly make you surrender………..
'Tis the most tender part of love, each other to forgive & surrender..……
& then it crumbles in little flakes on your tongue, while you start chewing on the meaty & VERY irresistible almond.
TRES BIEN!!!!!

Today is the turning point of All things MAAN...
Max MAAN is ALREADY very Unique in giving his love unconditionally, without expecting anything in return.
To just give, that takes courage, because we don't want to fall on our faces or leave ourselves open to hurt..……& yet Our Lover-Boy is Not dithering!
