as much as this is only a show and only watched for entertainment i agree!
its been bothering me for days now the way geet is acting, SHE'S PREGNANT! for godsake
i know it wasnt her fault, but the way she expressing herself to maan is just going to bite her in the back later

she should understand, that she can only live a life with maan if and only if he accepts her the way she is so she has to tell him the truth before getting all mushy w/ him

nice post

LOL I don't know how to forward it either. The mods might know how to do so, maybe you could ask them. I would say the GEET FB page, but then people post so often on that that the PH might never read this. But nevertheless, beautifully written with logic. However, some people might say that it is just a show and lets enjoy MaanEet and their moments. And some people might say that it was all about the baby, she fought with her family for him. It's just a difference in opinion. 😊

On the contrary, this show was to convey the harsh reality of society to date. It started out to do so, but is is diverting from the path.
I enjoy a good romance or action flick just like the next person. My issue with this particular show is that is had the potential to open eyes as to these cruel realities and also to help. Media ahs been one of the most informative method in society today and one which has been able to help by opening the eyes of those who can help.

You have very valid point.....but the problem may be you expected 'Geet - the serial' to be treated like all other women-centric serials which shows the female protagonist as always alone, doubted and fighting by all herself!!!

But the Geet CVs wanted to portray their serial in this particular way ie with a mix of fantasy - Take it or Leave it!! And it clear from their interaction in FB that they will continue on the same way!!

So nobody can tell the CVs that this is the way the I want to see Geet so change it to reality!!!

Sorry If I am being blunt, but tired of the same old complaints....

There is no problems with anyone speaking their minds here, as long as there is no name calling. Therefore your comment is welcomed and thank you.
As viewers we are entitled to give our opinions or our take on any show we are looking at. As viewers we are the ones that keep them on the air. Show ratings work the same here in the states, if a show does not have enough viewers it won't be on the air. Now I am not saying this will happen to Geet.
The above is the answer to your "take it or leave".
No one is telling them to change their show, they are the ones who are trying to convey what is going on in society, the cruelty and they are not doing a good job. This my take and some other people take on it.

The CVs can make changes including the story line and theme but some things need to be left the same for the sake of continuity. Or the change has to be gradual.
Geet is always shown to be a forthright, truthful and moralistic girl. For her to accept the ring, not once but twice, all the while hiding her past from him, was a bit far fetched. Looking at her characterization, her mind/ soul should have stopped her from accepting the ring, even if it is a mere job, without revealing some part of her past.
In my POV, the Hoshiarpur track showed them both as having built a relationship of trust and mutual dependence and answered their silences. This line of questioning some how weakens that track. They should have had the Hoshiarpur track after this line of questioning.
I was not expecting the CVs to weaken Geet's character like this. Neither was I expecting them to go down this "ghisa-pita" route of " are we only friends?" Especially when they have built the characters and storyline of Geet and Maan in such a way. Maan and Geet can never be "just friends". Its all or nothing.
Slowly, I am getting disappointed by the serial. Of course, Maan is eye-candy. This is about a man and a woman's love story. Not some silly college theme or something equally immature. So they have to keep that in mind while showing the scenes between Maan and Geet. It has to be mature. Immaturity makes a mockery of their love.

I think evryone needs to chill and enjoy the show. This is a TV show for our entertainment. We have enough problems in our lives to watch depressing issues when we get back from work. We would like to end our day with some romance and entertainment. Its not reality...
