Dev's redemption?

So as we've been seeing in the recent episodes it seems that Dev is starting to feel guilty and repentful of what he did to Geet. Many people have stated their opinion already that what he did was quite unforgivable. Perhaps if he hadn't taken advantage of her then he might have been slightly redeemable but after what he did he certainly can't be forgiven. Yet still he is starting to repent which shows that only Naintara will be the true villain in the end. So thus we come to the point of punishment...Naintara obviously deserves the worst punishment and all but what about Dev. He did something unforgivable but still he is beginning to see the error of what he did. Personally I think the only way that he can redeem himself and be forgiven in any sense in the show is if he dies saving Geet and the baby from something that maybe Naintara arranged. If he does die then in a sense he will get his punishment but also have redeemed himself and be out of the picture. That way he won't come between Maaneet and won't cause the family to break apart too much or too much drama and uncomfortableness between everyone. What do you guys think?

hmmm....good point Ivy...u know i hav been wondering the same...that wat will become of dev now that he is slowly realising his mistakes & feeling all guilty...but as long as he is under naintara's hawk like eyes..he wont ever be able to do any good...
so here's wat i think,or geet will b close to loosing her & her baby's life by naintara's evil plotting...but dev will come in the nick of time & die saving them..naintara after seeing this will go mad & be taken to the mental asylum(arranged by maan)

or dev will try to save geet & her baby...but somehow geet will be badly injured & naintara will die instead..(i wanna see a scene in which dev has to make a choice to save geet or naintara...and he chooses geet & his kid...naintara in pure shock looses her life while dev will rush geet to the hospital but it will be too late for the baby)

Nainatara's death will leave dev devastated & broken...
by than dev will be free from the evil chains of naintara & so he will go & beg for geet's forgiveness.
After apologizing to geet,he will go far away from maaneet to never return...
m just imagining that scene in which maan is angry & tells dev to get lost forever but geet stops him & tells him wait let me handle him,which definitely makes maan more angry but he obliges when he sees her positive look..
he looks away & stands with his back facing them..while dev comes forward & not meeting her eyes says that watever he did...was wrong & he is truly sorry...maan again tries to say something but geet stops him with her glare...dev than tells her that now he will start a new life...& will not interfere in their lives..nor will they ever see his face....dev leaves Forever....

hmm i like ur idea too Alia!! but i don't want geet to loose the baby! i want maan to accept the baby as his own and then for them to show really cute maan and baby scene whether the baby is still unborn or born!! :) but yeah the idea of Dev leaving forever is a really good idea too...if something like that happens i want it to all be b/w just them and no one especially not Dadi ever finding out the truth cause it'll probably destroy her...id like seeing maan and geet hiding the truth from her and maybe even maan claiming the baby as his...or if geet tells her the truth not tell her it was dev's....

thx dear! actually i hav read soooo many ANTI-BABY posts here & on FB geet's page...i dunno i hav a feeling Cvz as usual will listen to the majority & do wat they want..i-e to kill the baby...

i never gave a thot before abt wat will happen to the dev & wat can happen to the baby etc....not untill now wen u hav pointed it out...
yeah i agree..maaneet baby scenes WILL most DEFO be cute :) even i dont want daadi to know the truth...lol it would be fun to see daadi teasing the crap out of maan u know those DAADI moments that the grandsons have after marraige rofl!

lolz Alia i'd luv to see more scenes of dadima teasing maan. those r so cute!!!
