You know there are so many random, so-called HOT scenes put in serials nowadays and to be honest most of the time they are just put in to the script to please the youth audience. When these kind of scenes come with no reason, they don't have the same impact (atleast with me) but with Kriya, each and every scene COUNTS for something and this was a milestone in their relationship and it wasn't just shown because its a sexy scene or whatever. It was a scene which fit so perfectly with their relationship and took it to the next level.

I totally agree with your pov in regards to random so called HOT scenes on other serials with the male protagonist with his buff body to please the young females minds to go gaga over. Most of those scenes are very contrived and catered to generate ratings rather than progression in the story line. (Or may be, I've reached the age where teen dramas annoy me 😛)

Back to Pratigya, I've always found this drama to be more real, a more adult love story rather those manufactured teen love stories, and may be that is the reason I find it more interesting than other serials. I too did not find anything wrong with the scene. Found the scene to advance the relationship and finally had the confrontation which enabled to hopefully reunite them.
