Episode - 96

Sundaram warns paatti that son's curse has the same effect as the mother's... dont come under RR's wrath he tells her. (ada paavi naNba..un friend saabam vidradhu oru kEdaa..!) Goes out and tells RR he has spoken his heart out to paatti and not to worry. Requests RR to go and take some rest.. RR spots Adhi's parents at the hospital. Sundaram asks him to leave immediately, that he will take care of things. If they spot RR then they will have to tell about his mother (sonnaa enna, paattikku theriyaama kalyanamaa?) RR leaves, Adhi's parents call out Sundaram, say they have come to visit someone admitted.. Sundaram also says same same.. A nurse comes out of the ICU and say that RR's signature required for some treatment for his mother..Adhi's parents barge into the ICU.. Sundaram does the introduction. Adhi's parents are very respectful.. Paatti is happy to see them..Adhi's father tells her nothing bad will befall her.. Paatti gives that smile.. paatti asks about their poorveegam.. all thanjavur district, pakkathu oor... paatti knows Adhi's grandfather.. RR is feeling very uneasy... Nurse comes and asks them to leave, patient needs rest.. (ICUkuLLa makkals a vidra orE ooru namma ooru..grr...) Adhi's parents take leave...request paatti to stay with RR henceforth.. paatti says she is used to staying alone.. they say RR shouldnt allow her to continue like that... Paatti supports RR and tells he always listens to her.. Sundaram in all surprise thinking to himself.. cursing when RR in front of him but supports him when talking to others (idiot.. adhukkaaga, varapOra sambandhikitta avanga pillai 2 timernu sollavaa mudiyum...) Sambandhi says sorry, just spoke his heart and leaves..

Anu's household - is thinking about something in the kitchen with the milk on the stove.. Manju comes in and finds mummy in deep thoughts. Says paatti will become alright soon. Anu is worried about RR too.. if something happens to Paatti, then RR might fall sick. Bell rings.. RR comes.. Anu asks about Paatti's welfare.. she is better he says.. Anu says then why this glum looks.. RR is worried about the hurt he has caused her and wonders when it would heal (adhu heal aara maadhiriyaa nee thappu senju irukka?) Anu joins in.. Manju is an onlooker... RR cribbing.. Anu asks if she shouted at him... says that she did not even want to see him.. he felt like dying... cried.. but she did not have a change of heart.. He doesnt want to stay near her if he is the cause, wouldnt mind dying.. Anu stops his uLaral and says only adhiradi vaidhiyam for paatti henceforth.. calls Manju to get Nivedha and Santosh ready to visit paatti.. RR requests Anu not to hurt his mother (aamaam.. indha dialogue oNNuthaan korachchal..)

Pallu's household - Pallu praying... Priya returns very happily from college.. Pallu doubtful if she did not have any lessons.. Priya says she gave Manju semma nosecut and is very happy about it. Pallu's mom comes and says why always mallukatting with Manju.. Priya says only Manju is quarelling with her.. Pallu's mom doesnt believe.. Priya upset that her granny believes that Manju but not her grand daughter.. Granny says Manju also her grand daughter (idhu enna pudhu guNdu!) Pallu wonders.. Granny says all her friends and classmates are like grand daughter to her.. Priya says Manju is considered an enemy.. that Manju had not done her assignment and Priya pOttukudutthufies to the lecturer.. the look on Manju's face was priceless she says.. Pallu is unhappy.. tells Priya never to find happiness at the cost of others.. go ask sorry she says.. as usual Priya refuses.. Pallu asks Priya to go to Manju's house and ask for pardon. Granny tries to stop.. Pallu blackmails and sends Priya.. Granny twidling her thumb..

At the ICU - Anu, Nivedha and Manju visit paatti... Manju asks her come to their house.. Nivedha also sings the same tune.. paatti looks at Anu and asks her if it is her work only with expressions.. all of them emotionally blackmail paatti...Doctor visits and asks them to take care of her.. Paatti is thoughtful..

Tuesday - marupadiyum varaththaanE seyyum...

7th Sept 2010 - Tuesday - Episode - 97

Continues from yesterday's... Priya tells Pallu that she cant go and ask sorry Manju... Pallu blackmails her that she would not talk unless she asks sorry to Manju.. Priya leaves... Granny twidling thumb..

Loosu mama Kamesh (LMK hereafter..) calls his friend on the mobile and updates that all his plans to stop the engagement of Nivedha had flopped, but God has been kind to him .. Paatti has a major heart attack and most likely will get a one way ticket.. so his plan to get the property of his mama still is alive.. Bell rings, so LMK disconnects the phone and attends the doorbell. Priya wants to talk to Manju... Manju is at the hospital because paatti is unwell... Priya wants the name of the hospital - KK Hospital replies LMK, Priya leaves... climbs up the stairs in slow motion... Manju, Nivedha and Anu look up.. Manju is shocked the rest surprised.. Priya tells the reason for her visit.. Anu & Nivedha happy, Manju has a long face.. Priya says Sorry.. Manju turns her face... Anu and Nivedha recommend Priya's cause.. Priya wants to see paatti... Manju takes her in... introduced to paatti who asks for her parents' names.. Priya starts off with Raja - the nurse drives them out... when Priya is taking leave RR spots Priya and hides.. as is normal in Abinaya serials.. Priya doesnt notice him.. RR heaves a sigh of relief.. but Priya is behind him.. he lies saying he came to see his friend's mom.. Priya wants to introduce Manju.. RR says he has work and asks Priya to leave.. Rr goes up and Anu says paatti can be discharged.. asks RR to leave first that she would bring athai home.

Pallu's household - paatti worriedly keeps looking at the door.. Pallu on phone with a pharmacist asking for medicines for her father's legache.. looks at the worried mother and says the medicines and ointment would reach home soon.. Enter Priya (enter the dragon maadhiri irundhadhu Granny's face !) Granny is worried if Priya would have seen maapiLLai at Anu's house... worried if there would be an earthquake..On enquiry Priya tells of her trip to Manju's house then hospital and did the needful... but never tells about paatti admitted there.. Pallu gives her advice telling not to hurt anyone in the future..says she is sorry for her act.. Suddenly bulb flashes in Pallu's head asks why Manju was at the hospital.. Priya tells about paatti... Granny's face is ashen..asks worriedly if she spoke to paatti, if she is alright and Priya updates Pallu and Granny.. says paatti is unlike Manju - she is very nice.. Pallu again says she will get to know Manju and repent for her statement.. tells her mother that Anu is all praise for her MIL, that paatti should get well soon..all about to disperse and Priya tells that daddy dearest was at the hospital. Pallu wants to know why.. Granny again has a raised BP.. Priya repeats RR's excuse.. Now Pallu wants to know who is that friend... Granny asks her to leave..but Pallu still is thinking...

Anu's household - paatti is brought from the hospital.. RR is all smiles.. Paatti is very sad.. Anu asks Nivedha and Manju to take paatti inside.. Both granddaughters want paatti to tell stories at night.. Anu admoishes them, asking paatti to rest... Manju suggests that her father cook for a week then paatti will become alright.. paatti remains silent... Manju recommends RR's cooking, says paatti would not have tasted thats why she is quiet... paatti smiles.. RR & Anu hang their heads.. RR stands in the balcony... Anu comes and asks for the reason.. tries to bring RR and paatti together... RR thanks Anu because she is the reason for his mother coming home..Anu says his mother is very fond of him...RR wants his mother to talk to him, Anu assures it will happen soon..

Thursday thaan enakku pudiccha naaLu... 😛

RR's mother convalescing...Anu tries to force her to drink juice, while her mil refuses adamantly. Enter Nivedha and sister, and convince grandmother to drink. The sambandhis visit (Aadhi's parents) and request the family to go together to buy saris for engagement. Granny enquires about the sambandhi's brother in law (sister's husband). Aadhi's father gets upset, and says he has disowned him, because the brother in law married a second wife while the wife was still around. He categorically says he can never forgive a man who does drogam to own wife and marries another woman....granny is troubled.

RR and Sundu- Sundu tells RR of his prospectove daughter in law, Shree, and that her father is an owner of a construction company. He conveys that Shree wants Pallavi's consent first, hence she is a good girl (idhulai onnum korachal illai)
Sundu gives his verdict that she is good natured and brilliant. He expresses that Shree is afraid of Pallavi and urges RR to speak to Pallavi about opening up to the idea of Karthik's choice of bride IF IN THE EVENT he falls in love possibly one day. (what a brilliant failproof idea)

RR enters, Palluvali in deep thought. Pallavi is worried Karthi may be in love
(like its equivalent to trafficking drugs- why are these people SO overly obsessed about opposing the very idea of love like as if its totally unheard of..maybe never watched TV before)
RR asks her not to worry, even if Karthik loves someone, she should be open to it. Pallavi disagrees, but RR asks her how come she has double standards when she herself loved RR and married him. (What rubbish- so RR also loved Pallavi then, when he was already married? That was really disgusting to hear from him)

Pallavi says she loved RR only because he was flawless...right right...(Only flaw is he was also loving another woman).
Pallavi is slowly somewhat convinced by RR that she should accept Karthik's love, but ONLY if the girl is good in character. Pallavi says if she talks to the girl and likes her, she will accept her. Otherwise she will not agree to the marriage. RR tries to convince her that she should not be adamant, and learn to respect Karthik's view first and not only her opinion. Pallavi cuts him off saying this whole argument is hypothetical because Karthi doesnt love anyone. RR chides her for being avasara buddhi, and requests her to act more maturely in these matters. P agrees somewhat.

Selvarani and Mechanic Karthik at the park- discuss about her parents accepting him. MK is convinced they wont accept him easily. Selvarani promises to change her parents' hearts about him. Meanwhile, he walks her home (dont they know enough to know this is a bad idea) and exchange sweet nothings at the gate. Of course her father spots them and loses his temper. He orders Selvarani to go in, and asks MK to get out. MK expresses his love for Selvarani, which Gopi disagrees with, and turns him away from the home...MK looks upset...
(What did he expect I wonder- vettrilai pAkku vechu azhaippu by mAmanAr?)

Thanks Eclat for the double updates .. RR , Macham ya unakku .. eppo thaan maattuveero 😔 .. Wonder how Pallavi's mom agreed for RR to marry her daughter .. Appo P thaan biwi no.1 is it ?? but her adamant attitude makes me think she is biwi no.2 ...

RR how will you shift one family to thooththukkudi now, when the children are all grown up and purusing their tertiary education... for someone who is two timing to keep both families in the same town is unbelievable ...

Pallu could be the first wife - still irks why he had to marry Anu later... in any song pallavi is first and anupallavi next... logically it works... everything else is illogical in this story ; title mattum logic kEkkudhaa unakku eclat..

true...but remember how RR's mother had a flashback of P's father (with the yucky wig) and RR discussing marriage..which was why she hated P's father...so it seems P has to be the 2nd wife, if I think logically...if she was the first wife, she should hate Anu's father- but funnily, Anu has no family on her side...except P's father who is her relative...oh god, how illogical it ended up 🤢

RR - if you loved Pallu and your mother did not accept for whatever reason, you should have convinced her and got married to Pallu.. that is provided you werent married to Anu... But if you were married to Anu and claim you were forced into 2nd marriage, it is height of absurdity. indha justify seiyya oru aaptha naNban..kashtam..Abinaya Creations the very thought makes me sick to the pit of my stomach...
