Is Dutta Insecure?

One small setback and Dutta was back to being his angry self. Why do I feel he is a bit insecure here. Did the two women (Seema, Susp) play their part in causing the so called "insecurity" in Dutta?. One woman taunted him "Apna shakal dekha aaine mein?" and the other said "Ur touch was disgusting". The more I want to believe that those words didnt effect Dutta ,the more I am made to believe that they indeed did.

If thats not the reason how can a person in a split second forget all the love the woman(read Nakku) showered on him for days?. He is very unsure of himself , thats what it is. He deep down in his heart feels that he is not "lovable" or "pyaar layak". I personally dont believe that he isnt "layak" , but Dutta himself feels that and I think that might be the root cause of that outburst and dart session 😆.

If he is indeed insecure and unsure of himself, will that be the cause more troubles in TaSha's story as the story progresses?. Sply after the so called face-revelation?. Will Nakku accepting his love and agreeing to get married to him put a full-stop to his insecurties? Is there a possibility of the so called "insecurity" never show up again?.

I know Iam talking nonsense, but what to do the more I look at the last scene, the more Iam tend to believe that Dutta as a person is somewhere deep inside "insecure".

Let me know ur thoughts on it............ looks like its one more depressing thoughts wala weekend for me 😆 ...........and this is a long weekend for us over here 😆

Well anu agreed he is insecure because he feels he is not lovable...people only love to hate him n r scared of him...n in the whole world who was not sacred of him ....loved him like he is the most precious thing in the world... made him feel special....And now this person who did all this for him...is now running away from him because of the torture he put her through days...n he is not able to accept this...that due to his previous behaviour towards nakku...he is being separated from his love...the root cause is not his insecurity I feel but the very thought of nakku going away from him has made him angry ...He loves her deeply n she is the most valuble person in his life.....He knows she is the only one who can read him like a book whenever required...the only person to whom he really opesn up.....She is his heart n soul now...n Nakku leaving would leave him dead....n he doesnt want to die...but lead a life filled with love n happiness...He is actually scared that he will have no happiness n smile in his life if nakusha leaves.....pehle baar DSP is scared in his life....that his love might leave him...n henceforth this has made him insecure...Just wondering the day nakku's true face reveals he would become double insecure ...he will doubt every 2nd man who eyes nakku!😆

I agreee with you as well I think Seema n sups' words had a big effect in his heart as well! even doe he doesnt show it or try show us he doesnt believe in it... deep dwn he thinks that he doesnt deserve any1's love! (to be honest i think sups n seema r both er stupid to leave someone like dutta.. i drool over him everyday) Anyway lool
And I have to agree with Megha as well i think he will be verrryyyyy insecure once Nakku's face is revealed! Damn his eyes would be on her all day and checking who's lookin at her! lool

He might as well attach a camera on her lol!

@Anu: Interesting topic...i think he has taken for granted Nakkus love for him(not sure if that is the right way), but he knows that Nakku loves him a lot and she has told him in so many words and expressed in her actions as well. The hold up has always been on his side. In his mind, for Nakku to become his, he has to take the first step....well he did and when Nakku exactly did not rush into his arms, he is disappointed. I would definitely give Dutta the benefit of doubt here...its Nakku who is now insecure about revealing the truth to Dutta...

Regarding how he will be in future...the longer Nakku is going to play the hide and seek game, the harder its going to be for him to be able to digest the truth...and maybe that is what the CVs are driving at....it maybe headed towards Dutta feeling, 'You did not trust me enough to reveal the truth about yourself....'

Dutta is self deprecating and has low self esteem. That is partly his bad history with women and partly his own torment at the way he dealt with his history. But I cannot call him insecure.

I frankly speaking after whatever has happened b/w Naku and him so far cant blame him for taking the rejection badly. Forget Dutta...even the most calm and patient guy would have taken a rejection badly in this case.

Yes Anu, i believe that! although its not directly mentioned but his Actions does speak in that sense... he hides his insecurities behind his Anguish.. typical Man...
last thursday, the way he reacted! questioning himself inspite of knowing Her love for him proved that.. words like" tu mujeh muaafi k bhi laik nahi samajhti kya?" makes it more evident ... He doesnt find himself a Great CAtch and we have discussed that during Tasha wedding when he forced nakusha and married her probably with a frame of mind that now i'll tell u how its to be a Wife of a Man like me ...

*sigh* its sad! but makes his character even more interesting for me!

hi Anu,

I find myself in the same situation as u....long weekend with such a depressing thursday episode....but i'm glad will get to see new epi on Mon so long wknd won't be so long after all....you know I was thinking of the same thing too.....Dutta does seem to be insecure..esp when he says ki mein apne aap par shak karne lagaa hoon..and galti kar gayaa dutta.....I also agree with you that it is a result of his past experiences with Sups and Seema, but I think it has more to do with his confidence in naku which was shaken....He was so sure that she loves him and so would gladly accept his proposal that he did not anticipate her refusal and that it was a public one was more humiliating.....I think that was what shook him the most..that a girl who constantly time and again said and proved her love for him ditched him at the last moment....so how can he trust now???I mean that would shake the confidence of stronger men who don't have a past like Dutta..and poor guy has already suffered enough emotional atyaachaar at the hands of women...I think this is something that is really crucial at this point. Naku wants to save him pain but little does she realise how much her actions are going to damage Dutta right now, forget abt the face reveal...lets see how the Cvs handle it

Red : Ya and that is what Iam worried abt. Will that "worry" eat him off? The thought that Nakku might leave him may cause him some trouble dont u think?. So thats where is my Q , will she accpeting his love and marriage proposal get rid of his "worries" or do u think this is just the begining and he will have such setbacks time and again as and when Nakku's behavior threatens him of loosing her...........? . Iam a bit worried abt this. Its not at all good if D has this insecurities popping up every now and then.

Blue : See u wrote it in a funny way but thats again a troubling thing. They in the show term Nakku as "apsara" and D isnt very confident abt his love which can bind Nakku to him forever.......or atleas thats what it seems as of now. So can he always be in this constant dart-sessions 😆, and worried for his love leaving him? Will he trust his love so much that he will start believing that practically nothing can ever and ever seperate him from his Nakku? No man living or dead can come between them? 😳

Thats so true. Looks like he isnt able to keep his past away from him. It keeps coming back haunting and that doesnt sound good at all.

As much as I hate to say this, but after the true face I think Nakku and Dutta have to fight lot of these insecurity issues I guess. Atleast the way Dutta has been behaving till now, the way he is hating beautiful ppl and the way he believes that beautiful ppl dont think him worthy of their love........ makes me believe that all isnt going to be well for N and D after the revelation. Thats why I always wanted a strong bond formed between N-D before the revelation so that no such revelation can deter or harm their love .............but Alas its too late for that I guess. Time is ripe for the revelation .........it cant wait

Black : I am always a bit scared when I want to say that. I always shut one part of my brain when I think abt it 😆 . Part of my brain says D takes N for granted thinking she doesnt consider herself worthy anyone's love (cuz of her color) and so backing off or giving in is always his choice not hers. I know this is gonna create havoc in the forum when I say such things 😆, but the way they promoted the "beautiful ppl betrayed me, now I found solace in u........" wala promo. Dutta finding Beast in Beauty , inturn means he is giving in cuz Nakku isnt beautiful. But seriously I have always avoided myself from thinking so negative abt D 😳 , he is one person I adore 😛...........he can never be wrong 😆 even if he is Iam not gonna pin point it 😆
