Before I even venture to put this question forth, let me just say this is a personal judgment on each member's part...keep it cordial and respectful😃

So when I see Dutta smiling at Naku, holding her hand, staring at her, getting ready to give her the MS back, here are the thoughts that go through my head:

Naku must have a slight sense or more that Dutta has feelings for her, unless she has inherited Babi's brains. 😆 Now don't get mad.

Based on her reaction, she was relieved that Anna took her secret to the grave. Instead of looking guilty or struck by her own conscience, I sensed she felt fear instead of shame. I myself did not appreciate that much.

So far, her words or actions do not indicate that she feels regret or her conscience is bothering her. So long as her secret is intact. But it is still early, let's see over the next week or so if her conscience bothers her to act. I'm not so sure she will be able to bring herself to state the truth, which is a big disappointment for someone we call a sherni...courage to do anything, including standing for the truth. The same sherni that confessed her love to Dutta in front of everyone...without hesitation.

I know the CVs will handle this with wonderful elan. I have no doubt of this. However, as much as I am loving the LS, and will continue to love it, a part of feels like Dutta is being taken for a ride and his feelings not respected. Because of all the people in his life, only Naku fully understands what half-truths, mistruths, lies, whatever one wants to call it, can do to a person like Dutta especially in love.

Dutta made a point, when he screamed at her: When you found out about Supriya, why did you not tell me? She said she was afraid that he would be shattered. He said: You should have let that be my decision, why did you decide for me, whom I should marry.
As long as there was no hope of Dutta returning her feelings, Nakku was okay with her secret, she wanted to clear herself and then reveal herself, she was even ready to do that after the escape from the jungle.
Now that Dutta is acknowledging his feelings, Nakku is scared of losing him, if the secret is revealed. She fears, that like us, Dutta will feel disconnected from the Fair Nakku, because he knows only the Dark Nakku.
Once again she is presuming Dutta's reaction, and he being shattered by the betrayal. What she does not understand is that it is not a betrayal, if you tell the truth yourself, instead of someone else telling your truth (in a manipulated way).
I was really irritated with Nakku, the way she was all shifty eyed, when Anna told them about her truth. Why the hell in the first place did she tell that scum Anna, that Dutta does not know her real Roop??? And why the hell did she let them bathe her and dress her up in bridal dress? And Anna putting the Kajal on her and she turned Brown??? It was ridiculous.
Some of the posts compared the kidnapping to Ramayana. Only, Sita refused to wear any other clothes offered by Ravana, she remained in the dress she wore when she was kidnapped.
She should tell the truth. I am sorry, I will have no more sympathy for Nakku, if she does not tell her truth to Dutta, and plays it safe, thinking she should save Dutta from being shattered, and losing faith. She is actually saving herself the heartache of the disconnect he will experience when he knows the truth.

Nakku thinks Dutta sirf Dil dekhta hai, not how a person looks. Even AS has accepted her as the daughter in law.
What Nakku should ask herself is: If Sahib does not think she has betrayed him, and does not go by looks, what has she to lose by telling her truth?
I just hope the CVs handle this sensibly. To me the best way, without much drama is if Baabi tells him the story.
Then tells him, she wants her daughter's real self to live. Then Dutta and Nakku have conversations and Nakku removes her colour.
Then the rest of the family comes to know.
Somehow this whole colour ON, colour OFF business is getting my goat 😡
