Well, im not surprised. She has always maintained that she dosen't just do films for good roles and creative satisfaction...sometimes its the money, sometimes the relationships she has with the people making the film....either way, to err is human...and she is one, so i dunt see why people are shocked at her decisions.
+ bebo survived like 16 flops in the 2003 - 2005 range...let the poor gal enjoy her share of hits!!! 😆
Anyway....i dunt think Golmal returns or KI can be classified as hits coz i dunt recall a soul on the face of this earth who appreciated these films....filmmakers claim their films to be hits when they make 100 rupees of profit...lol....but Box office does matter...after all that is what decides an actors pay, popularity and his worth in the industry...
as an example, did anyone care abt akshay kumar b4 in the 90's? He still acted in versatile roles ranging from romantic, to action, to comedy...but no one ever took him seriously until 2008...it was that year when he gave Namaste london, heyy baby, Bhool bhulaiyaa and Welcome, all of which became massive hits...
We as an audience are really weird that way...we complain when actors dunt do "challanging" roles...but we are the same ones who make their mediocre movies blockbusters. *sigh*
Agree with everything else u said too.
