Thanks for the link. I've listened to Hema's version many times but I haven't listened to Karyuna's version yet. In all honesty, there's no point in comparing the two cause SRGMP and II2 are two different platforms. SRGMP singers are given more time to practice and don't have to worry about performance as much as II2 contestants.

Thanks!! And Sonya has a very good point, but I guess people will compare no matter what!! In this case, both the singers are technically superb, that's a given.I personally liked Hemu's execution better because of the part 'jogi jogi jogi jogi....' where you sing the 'jogi' word in different modulations, and I thought Hemu did the variations extremely well.. also, he had lot more passion in his voice in my opinion..

guys heama version is good as he had lot of time to perform and if us ee karu's case he had 2 mts to sing may be each contestant given 5 or 5 and half minutes for both songs and he almo9st sang for just above 3 mts for holi song and did complete justice toa difficult 1959 song sung by asha bhonsale and i dint know the male voice.

and when it coems to Ramta jogi he performed for 2 mts and couldnt have the tiem to perform as much as hema

but i should admit inspite of karu's original voice quality ,its hema's voice qulaity thats impressive esp in this song

so its hema all the way as far as ramta jogi goes.
