well she is heart broken so what she said made sense.
But i feel like it happened in JJKN when Armaan married the vamp , his mom was also anti Jassi and pro vamp Mallika . After the marriage his mom realised Armaan and Mallika are just not meant to be together and Armaan is happier with Jassi . So she encouraged Armaan to go for Jassi then.
I feel same may happen in Ronits case when his mother will realise the love and encourage them to spilt.

I don't think so she will ever forget Rohan.
She may like someone & marry but that would be compromise for living not love.
