Look Who's changing 1/3
[ 0 ]We have seen Shah Rukh Khan enamour the silver screen with his multi-hued characters. Filmfare leafs through some of his memorable roles
Deewana (1992)
Shah Rukh Khan won the Filmfare Award in the Best Male Debut category for his role in Deewana. In the film, Shah Rukh played a young romantic hero. He had floppy hair and mostly dressed in full-sleeved shirts paired with trousers or sweaters paired with high-waisted jeans.
Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa (1993)
He played a lovestruck boy who kept failing his exams. His style accessory was an airplane pilot's hat. His look was like a collegian's: t-shirts with jackets, jeans and sneakers. For a cruise party, he wears a formal black blazer paired with trousers in the hope of winning over his lady love.
Baazigar (1993)
When he was wooing Shilpa Shetty as Ajay, he played a geeky college student wearing large round glasses
and a brown jacket. When he was wooing Kajol as Vicky, he replaced the glasses with coloured contact lenses. He was then a very stylish car racer, wearing snazzy jackets and sunglasses. The most popular poster image from the film is one of Shah Rukh in a black suit wearing a hat that has a close resemblance to a navy hat.
Darr (1993)
In Darr, he played an obsessive stalker who obviously didn't get the attention of K...K...K...Kiran (Juhi Chawla). A floppy-haired college student discovered his fascination for the girl in question on campus. He wore a lot of printed shirts with jeans and a studded belt.
Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995)
Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge's Raj has made a permanent mark in our minds. His character has been referenced in a lot of romantic films, including the latest Love, Sex Aur Dhokha. The film created the image of the quintessential romantic hero. He wore jeans with long shirts. Over them he wore a black leather jacket and had a guitar slung on his shoulder.
Karan Arjun (1994)
Shah Rukh had two roles and two lives in the film. In his first birth, he is a village lad dressed in the traditional attire of white kurta pajamas. After his rebirth, he is a city boy who wears jeans and suede jackets. He manages a stable and that detail is woven onto the fringes in his jacket.
Koyla (1996)
SRK's character was forcibly made to swallow coal and thus, Koyla became the name of the film. He played a rustic rebel with a cause. He wore his hair long and unruly and wore three earrings. He wore a silver necklace with a cylindrical locket all through the film. His shirts were v-necks and he even wore a rope around his waist.
