• Uday started developing feelings for Sudha, but was split b/w her & Devika. After Sudha graduated and got a job, Uday warmed up to her & split w/ Devika
  
• Sudha had several escapades w/ Uday as Devika, until after one such incident @ their nightclub, she got arrested and finally her DID got exposed & cured
• Sushma continued to be abused by Brij until on Bhai-duj when Jyoti & Deepu pulled her out. In between she was pregnant, and they took her home, preventing her from doing an abortion
• Uday & Sudha were reconciled, and he continued to help her in her recovery, and slowly, they were in love
  
• CM tried to get the daughter of one of Minal's FIL's friends - Neelam - married to Uday. After a lot of agonizing, Uday went gayab on the day of his engagement & eloped w/ Sudha in a temple
• Brij, having lost Sushma, started to blackmail Jyoti. He managed to get introduced to & befriend Pankaj.
• Finally, on their anniversary, after seeing enough from Brij, Jyoti told Pankaj everything about Brij & Sushma. Pankaj was furious about Jyoti having had a prior relationship b4 marriage, and Brij made things worse by claiming Jyoti had an affair w/ him. As a result, CM & Pankaj kicked Jyoti out, but Uday refused to part w/ Sudha.
• Sharmas started looking for a bride for Deepu, who got promoted to manager. However, Jyoti's reputation as characterless ruined Deepu's chances of getting a good bride.
• Sushma & Deepu manage to get Brij arrested
  
• At the behest of CM, who wants Pankaj to marry Neelam so that Minal is accepted back in Kesav-ji's family, Pankaj divorces Jyoti. Jyoti grants it on the condition that Pankaj never claims her baby (she is pregnant)
• Jyoti manages to find a girl Poonam who falls in love w/ Deepu & is willing to marry him. This creates another circus, since Jyoti insists on Sudha attending it, and CM makes that conditional on Jyoti not being there. Jyoti has to miss much of Deepu's wedding b4 attending it @ the end.
• Poonam initially has adjustment issues, and particularly issues w/ Sushma, but finally settles down. Jyoti rejoins Bhagya-da's dance class as an instructor, w/ a handsome salary.
• Jyoti's divorce hearings happen, and it is granted, w/ her conditions
• Brij released from jail, and starts blackmailing Bhairavi.
• Pankaj re-marries Neelam. Jyoti is made to dance @ his wedding.
  
• Bhagya-da hires Kabir, a media manager, to increase the promotion & exposure of his group. The day Kabir joins, he saves Jyoti from a motor-cycle accident
• Jyoti & Kabir initially have quite a bit of friction b/w them, as Kabir is an outgoing and flamboyant guy, while Jyoti is a very reserved conservative girl. Nonetheless, their relationship progresses.
• Kabir helps Jyoti throw a godh bharai for Sushma. This was a show where casts of Bandini & DHKJ joined in. It was also the last appearance of Sudha & Uday - they've both left the show since.
  
• Brij starts getting cheated by the different girls he tries having affairs w/, as they are interested in his money. He falls ill and is diagnosed w/ TB
• Kabir meets Brij accidentally and discovers he is Sushma's hubby. He then does what he can to reconcile Brij w/ Sushma. Finally, the Sharmas accept
• Sushma re-marries Brij, @ Jyoti's behest. Kabir proposes to Jyoti, but she is reluctant to marry him since she's carrying Pankaj's baby
  
• Brij meets Pankaj and reveals to him his own wrong-doings, and that Jyoti was totally innocent of the accusations against her.
• Pankaj tries to reconcile w/ Jyoti, but both Jyoti & KK reject him. Padma & Deepu try to bat for him, and a debate ensures about whether it should be Jyoti or Kabir.
• Kabir is about to leave Udaipur for good, but Jyoti stops him and discovers how much she loves him. She makes it clear to everyone that he's her guy.
• Pankaj entices Jyoti to meet him @ an abandoned building, and tries to persuade her to at least give him his baby, even if she doesn't want to return to him. A struggle follows in which Jyoti is injured. Pankaj takes her to hospital and bribes the staff to deliver the baby prematurely and give it to him, while telling her that it's dead.
• Pankaj returns w/ the baby, and overrides CM's objections. Neelam, who has been threatened w/ divorce lately, decides to win over Pankaj by being the baby's mother.
• Jyoti decides to marry Kabir, while KK falls ill. Kabir is reluctant to talk to his family, since he knows they'll refuse. Jyoti tells him that she's not marrying him until he gets their acceptance.
• Kabir goes to his family home in Jodhpur, and his aunt wants him to marry her neice (sister's daughter). As a result, the first shagun that's sent to Jyoti's house is sabotaged when chachi calls Jyoti a jhuttan
• KK dies, and Deepu moves the family from Udaipur to Jaipur
• Kabir reluctantly joins his father's party for service, while his father needs him to revive the party's flagging fortunes.
• Jyoti has trouble finding a job, and runs into a woman Reshmi who wants to commit suicide or have an abortion since her husband has abandoned her. Jyoti takes her home and they start a search for him. This guy Vikrant happens to be the son of Kabir's chachi, who wants him to succeed Kabir's dad
  
• After many avenues, it's discovered that Kabir would be the best person to help. This brings about a re-union b/w Jyoti & Kabir
• Kabir finds out about the previous occasion and reads his chachi the riot act if she didn't apologize to the Sharmas and ask for Jyoti's hand in marriage
• Kabir's bhabi's & Vikrant talk to Jyoti & welcome him into their family. Jyoti is touched and agrees to re-marry Kabir.
• Kabir's dad & chachi are still plotting to kill Jyoti, since they can't get her off Kabir's mind
• Jyoti & Kabir to marry tonight, w/ marksmen after them. This will be a combo episode w/ PKCM, where the newly married Karan & Paro also have targets painted on them.
