Anmol's P.O.V
There was a complete silence. I looked at her tensed face. she looked at me from the corner of her eye and then to the other side. I could feel that she was uncomfortable, so I looked the other way. I knew this night wasn't going to pass so soon. It got colder as the rain got heavier. I heard Ragini moan, I looked at her to see if she was comfortable. she was shivering, her hands wrapped around her as she tried to keep herself warm. I without saying any word, got my coat from the back of my seat and offered it to her. She looked at me and then at my coat. I indicated her to take it. She took it from her trembling hands. "Main kuch karta hoon." I said, and immediately got out of the car and opened the bonnet to give it a one last try to fix the car. Due to the heavy rain and darkness it was impossible to see anything, let alone fixing it. I immediately opened the car door and sat on the driving seat. "kya hua?" asked Ragini. "Baarish bohut zyada hai aur andhera bhi. aise mein gaadi theek karna...impossible." I said. Ragini is shivering as well as tensed for the kids back at home. Seeing her like this made me restless, I had to do something. I looked around and at a distance i saw a light. "Ragini, wahaan dekho. Mujhe lagta hai humein wahaan koi madat zaroor mil jaayegi." I said. Ragini followed my eyes and looked at the light. "aap yahi rukiye main jaakar dekhar aata hoon." I was about to get off the car when she said "Main bhi aapke saath chalti hoon." I tried to explain to her to stay in the car as it's raining heavily, and she can fall ill. But Ragini didn't listen to me once, I gave up and agreed. We quickly got out of the car and ran towards the light. It was a small cottage. I looked at ragini to see if she was fine. But when I saw her i just couldn't take my eyes off her. She was completely soaked and looking absolutely gorgeous. I saw a rain drop tracing down her face to her neck. She looked at me and then immediately towards the floor. I too looked away and knocked on the door to see if anyone was inside, but the door was open already. We both walked inside to see if anyone was there. There was hay everywhere on the floor, some logs of wood on the left corner and a charpoy. It was warm inside. I looked around everywhere but no one was there. "Ragini yahaan toh koi bhi nahi hai." I said. "toh chaliye waapis gaadi mein chalte hain." Said Ragini. "Ragini mujhe lagta hai humein aaj raat yahi ruk jaana chahiye. Aap puri tarah se bheeg chuki hai, aur baahar thand bohut hai. Aap bimaar pad sakti hai." I said. Ragini looked around and then at me. She nodded a yes.
I gathered some logs of wood and placed them in the center of the room. I lit a bonfire, so we could keep warm throughout the night. I looked up and saw Ragini walking over to the window and looked outside. The moon reflected its shine on the area surrounding her. She was looking so beautiful. Her hair flew in different directions and a slight smile appeared on her face as the breeze touched her face. She let out her hand outside the window and felt the rain. I was completely lost in her mesmerizing beauty. I walked over to her slowly and moved her hair away from her face, she looked at me from the side. I traced my finger down her arm to her hand. She walked away but I grabbed her hand. Ragini's breath got heavier as I brought her closer to me and wrapped my arms around her. Her eyes were closed, she let out a moan when he kissed her on her shoulder, and slowly looked towards me. Our eyes met with each other. A loud thunder brought me into my senses. I looked around and saw myself standing where i was before, and saw Ragini still looking out the window. It was a dream? A slight smile appeared on my face. I look up back to her as she walks towards the bonfire. I sat on the opposite without moving my eyes off her. She looked up at me, I immediately moved my eyes away from her, I think she saw me staring at her. I looked at her when her eyes moved towards the fire. She again looked at me, this time i didn't move my eyes away from hers. We both looked on at each other. Not one word was spoken yet our eyes said a lot of things alone. I don't know what made Ragini move her eyes away. Maybe she was afraid....afraid that something may occur between us two. After a while i too moved looked the other way, but I could notice ragini quietly looking at me and then moving away. A slight smile appeared on my face.
This night was going really long, but I liked it. I liked being with her. She was looking extremely beautiful. "Ragini" I said finally breaking the silence. She looked at me. "raat bohut ho chuki hai agar aap chahe toh araam kar sakti hai." Ragini shook her head lightly and said "main theek hoon." I nodded and leaned against the wall. Ragini had her knees curved and her arms wrapped around it. I closed my eyes trying to catch some sleep, but I wasn't able to. I opened my eyes and saw Ragini who was asleep, her head kept tilting to the side. I walked near her slowly, and quietly watched her. I thought I should wake her up and ask her to lie down, but she was looking so beautiful and innocent, that i didn't feel like waking her up. I hesitantly brought my hands forward to lift ragini so i can put her on a comfortable place. But i was scared what if she woke up, what if she misunderstood me. I without giving it a second thought lifted ragini in my arms, she was in a deep sleep. I very lovingly placed her on the charpoy. My hand lied under her head. I tried removing it but she grabbed my arm in her sleep. I felt a bit hesitant, but when i looked at her I had forgotten everything...I was so close to her, so close that i could feel her warm breath. I stared at her all night and didn't realise when I had fallen asleep beside the charpoy, and when the night got over.
I woke up as soon as I felt her head off my arm. There she was looking at me, she was uncomfortable. I looked at her. the situation got a bit awkward. "I am sorry, woh maine socha ki..." i said. She looked at me. "subah ho gayi, mujhe lagta hai humein ab chalna chahiye bache ghar pe humara intezaar kar rahe honge." Said ragini completely changing the topic. Was she angry at me? She got up and left the cottage, I followed.
