Costumes on Geet

Hi everyone,

This is my first post for Geet's forum. I'm a really big fan of the show, I think its great! One thing that keeps bothering me with the show is the costumes for the so called sophistcated woman. Sasha and Tasha are presented as the upper class working women, yet they dress like they're going clubbing? I know a person such as Sasha or Tasha dressed the way they do here (America) for the corportate world it would not be acceptable. Even yesterday's episode with Ms. Rathor, her outfit was not appropriate professional attire. How do you guys feel? Am I completly off here?

no ur right.....here in America i have seen women working in business...and i love what they wear.....their professional clothes are awesome...it makes them look sophisticated....

what tasha, sasha, and rasika rathod wore just looked as if they were about to go clubbing......they are not business clothes.....they are inappropriate for business....

what Geet wears is more appropriate.....even what Pinky wears is cute....

absolutely agree....and its not even a fashion company or magazine comp...its construction...you cant wear velvet/suede dresses! LOL

I think its very silly...but at the same time I do think Geet's punjabis aren't professionally suited either...there are indian clothes that do give professional look.

No you are bang on right... Here in the US nobody related to the corporate world wears such casual outfits to work.... but I guess in Asian countries dressing is not an issue when it comes to work and anybody can wear there usual attire as long as its not gaudy. This show gives lots of emphasis of Geet's traditional attire, claiming her to be backward.... which drives me madddd
