Aug 3rd Written update (fully completed)

Part 1

Shivam is at Aastha's side gently stroking her hair as she sleeps. There's a look of happiness on his face and he looks at her sleeping. Aastha wakes up and immediately asks for Krishna. Shivam tells her that he is at home with Avni so she need not worry.

Doctor enters with a nurse holding the baby and tells them that they have to keep the baby in and incubator for a few days. Aastha gets worried but Shivam consoles her.

Bulbul is praying for her Aastha Auntie and the baby. Gaurav is also praying for their safety. Meena and Ghanti are smiling wickedly hoping that both Aastha and the baby will not make it.

Shivam is caring for Aastha in the hospital. The doctor admires the way he cares for her.

Avni in holding little Krishna in her arms and rocking him to sleep.

Shivam is looking at the baby in the incubator. Aastha comes also. It pains her to see the baby in the incubator and she is yearning to hold him. Shivam consoles her and takes her back to her room.

Shivam calls and tells Buaji that the baby is out of danger now and they will be coming home soon.

Meena is talking to her baby hoping that Aashta's baby would not survive and Krishna will also be put out, then her daughters will be Ramakant's heirs.

Ghanti comes and gives her the news that Aastha and the baby will be coming home tomorrow. Meena is in shock. She cannot believe that all of her plans have failed and now Aastha will be returning home with her baby boy.

Aastha is holding her baby and smiling. Shivam reminds her that god has blessed them with 2 sons now. Aastha agrees that they have truly been blessed.

Next morning Ramakant is excitedly ushering Aastha (holding the baby) and Shivam (with suitcase in hand) into the house. Seems like he can't wait to hold his grandson. Ganga comes and Aastha asks for Bhagyashree. Ganga tells her that Bhagyashree is in the mandir giving thanks for Aastha & the baby's safe delivery. Gangan leaves to get their room ready for them. Ramakant excitedly asks Aastha if he could please hold the baby. Aastha gives him the baby. Ramakant is overjoyed and tells Aastha he just can't express how happy his is right now, he had prayed so much and now finally he is holding his FIRST grandson. Shivam stops smiling as he looks up in shock when he hears Ramakant say this. Aastha reacts the same way and looks across at Shivam while Ramakant stands their beaming at the baby. They both feel very hurt and start walking towards the stairs. Ramakant turns to Lord Krishna murti and prays that god will bless his grandson with a long life and for him to carry on his name. Shivam & Aastha look at Ramakant feeling so hurt by his blatant discrimination against Krishna who they consider to be their first son.

Part 2

Shivam & Aastha are in their room. Shivam is standing by the window looking very upset. Aastha tells him not to feel hurt by Ramakant's words, in their hearts Krishna will always be their first son.

Avni arrives with Krishna to see the baby. Aastha tells Krishna that she missed him very much.

Shivam thanks Avni for taking care of Krishna. She reminds him that it's no trouble at all because she loves Krishna very much. Avni jokingly tells Aastha that now that she has her hands full with the little newborn baby she (Aastha) can leave little Krishna with her (Avni) permanently. Aastha says that if she does that she (Aastha) will miss Krishna very much. Avni says that she will miss Krishna very much now.

Bulbul returns from school and tells Meena excitedly that she just going to see the baby. Meena scolds her and says there's no need for her to go and see the baby, stay right here. Bulbul pleads with her to let her go for a little while but Meena angrily refuses. Aastha comes with the baby to see Bulbul and she is very happy. Meena puts on a fake smile as Aastha introduces the baby to Meena and Bulbul. Meena pretends to compliment Aastha. Gaurav arrives and meets the baby also. Aastha leaves and Bulbul follows her. Gaurava tells Meena he hopes that the happiness she is showing towards Aastha is genuine. He also hopes that she's not plotting against the baby like she did with Krishna. Meena plays innocent and fakes tears as she tells Gaurav that he's always suspecting her. Gaurav leaves but doesn't seem convinced by her words. Meena smiles

Part 3

Kavita is speaking to Soham on the phone, updating him about Aastha & the baby. Aastha walks in and Kavita immediately stops talking. Aastha realizes that Kavita is talking to Soham and approaches her smiling. Aastha takes the phone from Kavita and talks with Soham. He congratulates her on the birth of her baby. Aastha tells him that she has faith that their love will eventually triumph and Ramakant will accept their relationship. He asks her to take care of Kavita and she tells him not to worry at all. Aastha says she'll take Krishna to feed him now. Shivam arrives and says no need as he will do it. Aastha tells Kavita that Soham will love her and take care of her just as Shivam takes loves and takes care of Aastha. Kavita blushes.

Ramakant is holding his new grandson. The neighbours come in singing and compliment him on his new grandson. He rewards them for giving their blessings to his grandson. Aastha arrives with Krishna to see his brother and grandpa. Ramakant doesn't seem pleased seeing Krishna. Aastha takes the baby to Krishna saying let's go put the baby to sleep. Ramakant tells her sternly that she has been blessed with a baby boy now so she needs to be careful and protect him against all harm (hinting at Krishna). Aastha is hurt and angered by his words. Episode ends.
