Sadhli i felt his reaction was like Ahem being a husband of Gopi doen't know she is scared of something but his mother knows the change in her behaviour.... after all normally when a woman gets married her husband knows more than her inlaws do... so he was scared thinking what would happen when his mother realises that he and Gopi don't share a husband-wife relationship....

I have a feeling once Koki proves that Rashi and not Gopi was at fault.... we'll be seeing a guilty Ahem who wants to apologize to Gopibut his ego won't let him to do it[i guess the name Ahem suits his character perfectly]... so for that he'll start mending his ways.... and won't behave rudely to gopi.... slowly he'll start seeing the good side of Gopi and fall in love with her.....
