Aug 2nd Written Update

Meena is smiling as she plays with the bolt she removed from the swing. Gaurav calls out to her and she jumps with fright thinking that he saw her. He brings the baby to her for feeding. As Meena leaves with the baby she looks back at the swing with a wicked smile.

Next morning, Ramakant finishes his morning puja as Shivam & Gaurav supervise the preparations for Aastha's Godh Bharai ceremony. Ganga brings tea for Ramakant telling him sorry for being late but everyone is busy with the preparations at the moment. He says he doesn't mind he is happy that everyone is busy with the preparations and soon Aastha will give him a grandson that he so wishes for. Aastha's Mom blesses her daughter for the happiness that she is bringing to her family. Avni is also there taking care of Krishna. Kavita comes to hurry Aastha then Shivam also comes. She says she'll be ready in 5 mins. He says that he, Gaurav and Ramakant are sitting in the hall waiting and she should call if she needs anything.

Ganga is greeting guests as they arrive. Meena and Ghanti are having fun as they know that the swing is not safe and the danger that Aastha will face. Ganga tells Meena to call Aastha.

Aastha is being escorted downstairs by her mother. Avni looks up and sees Aastha and admires how beautiful she looks dressed in a baby pink saree with silver workings and white flowers in her hair. Aastha smiles as little Krishna blows his mama a kiss. The rituals are performed with a Godh Bharai folk song playing in the background. Meena watches as Aastha happily participates in the rituals, anxiously awating the moment when Aastha will sit on the swing.

Aastha sits on the swing and they cringe fearing the expected fall. But to their surprises nothing happens and they turn to see Aastha smiling and sitting on the swing. Meena is seething with anger as she wonders how the swing hasn't fallen. Aashta's Mom complete the rasams for her daughter. As she hugs her daughter she whispers in her ear the one whose mind is pure will be blessed and she's sure her daughter has god's blessings and will give birth to a healthy baby boy soon. Bhagyashree comes next and blesses Aastha presenting her with a decorated bow and jewelry. Avni comes next and feeds Aastha a sweet then gifts her a saree and whispers in her ears. Aastha laughs but the audience doesn't hear what she says. Meena walks away angrily.

Ganga tells Ghanti to serve Shivam, Gaurav & Ramakant who are sitting in the hall.

Ghanti serves them. Ramakant asks her if all is proceeding well with the Godh Bharai rasams. Ghanti says yes and is leaving but she stops when she hears Gaurav talk about the swing. He says that Krishna was playing on the swing when he heard as though Krishna called out to him. As he approached Krishna he noticed a that Krishna was playing with a bolt that had fallen off from the swing. He was shocked that Krishna hadn't fallen off the swing. He says imagine what would have happened if Aastha had sat on that swing with the bolt missing!!!.....Krishna was like god's angel that he found the bolt and saved Aastha from danger. Ramakant is surprised as he listens to this. Ghanti rushes off.

Ramakant goes to the Krishna murti and asks god why is it that little Krishna keeps saving the family from disaster and to help him to understand if he should accept Krishna or not.

Meena hears him and fears that if Ramakant's heart softens and he accepts little Krishna she will be ruined. But she says that her name is Meena and before the ceremony is over Aastha and her baby will be no more!!!

Avni performs with a dance with the other girls (really beautiful). She applies kajal to Aastha to ward off the evil eye. Meena and Ghanti are whispering to each other plotting for Aastha. Ghanti is scared but Meena gives her a harsh look and she obeys. Meena has a wicked smile on her face as she watches Aastha looking so happy as the ceremony is going on.

Part 2

The guests are leaving. Ramakant is thankful that the Godh Bharai ceremony went well. Aastha tells Shivam that she will go check Avni to see if Krishna is hungry. Aastha goes to the kitchen to fix a glass of milk for Krishna. Meena sends Ghanti to throw a banana peel on the floor just outside the kitchen. Avni arrives holding Krishna. Aastha asks her if Krishna ate but Avni replies that he was too busy playing. Meena & Ghanti are hiding and watching what will happen. Aastha tells Avni she will feed him as she has time now. She is walking towards then and steps on the banana peel. Aastha falls on her stomach and is writhing in pain. Meean & Ghanti are watching and laughing as Avni rushes to help Aastha, screaming for Shivam to come.

Part 3

Aastha is rushed to the hospital. As they are wheeling her to the operating room Shivam is asking the doctor to please save Aastha and the baby. The doctor assures him that they will do their best. Aastha is writhing in pain but still manages to tell Shivam to look after Krishna. Kavita tells her not to worry as Avni is looking after Krishna.

Ganga says she can't understand where that banana peel could have come from as they did not order any. Meena says there were so many people in the house there's no telling who could have brought it. Ghanti then says that she remembers seeing Krishna playing with a banana peel a little while before. Ganga's expression changes immediately. She looks at little Krishna standing next to Ramakant praying at the Krishna murti. Ramakant looks at little Krishna. Poor little Krishna is so innocent and unaware of the evil accusations that are being made against him.

Aastha is in the operating room. She is in pain and very worried for the baby.

The doctor comes and tells Shivam that they can't wait for normal delivery, they will have to do a Caesarian right away. Shivam says that a Caesarian delivery at 7 months is very risky. The doctor says yes but any further delay and they may lose Aastha. Shivam consents and signs the forms. Gaurav and Kavita comfort Shivam while the operation is being done. Bhagyashree & Ramakant are both praying for the safety of Aastha and the baby. Shivam Gaurav & Kavita also begin to pray.

They hear the sound of a baby crying and begin to smile. The nurse comes out and congratulates Shivam. Gaurav hugs Shivam. The phone rings and Ganga answers. She rushes and congratulates Ramakant, he has a grandson. The doctor brings the baby to Aastha. She holds him and is unable to contain her joy as she admires her little baby boy. Episode ends.

Precap

Aastha is telling little Krishna let's go put the baby to sleep. Ramakant tells her sternly that she has been blessed with a baby boy now so she needs to be careful and protect him against all harm (hinting at Krishna). Aastha is hurt and angered by his words.
