Article- On popular demand: Nupur's back!!

One of the hot favourite shows on STAR One, Miley Jab Hum Tum, had seen quite a few twists and turns in the past couple of months. One of the twists – namely Nupur's death – received a strong reaction from fans everywhere.

The character of Nupur, played by Rati Pandey, was shown dead on the show. The extremely jovial and outspoken student of Excel College was much loved by fans, and the channel was flooded with letters, e-mails and SMSes asking for their favourite Nupur-Mayank jodi back on the show. And now, the requests of the fans have been granted – Nupur is back!!

On SBO fanclubs, Rati has 6661 fans, and we are still counting! She leads all the celebs on fanclub, in terms of number of fans, also making her the most popular female TV celeb. There have been hundreds of messages on SBO fanclubs, asking for Rati's re-entry. One of Rati's fans, Sonal, had this message for her on her fanclub: 'Love you a lot Rati. Rati, you were, you are, and you will be the BEST always. I love you and will always do. Please please come back, Rati, as Nupur in MJHT, I beg of you. Just waiting eagerly for the day when you'll be back with a bang to rock the show, as always. So, till then and always, No Nupur(Rati) = No Mayank = No MJHT. Please Please CVs, please bring back my Nupur(Rati) as soon as possible.'

Another one of her fans, I want Rati, says: 'Rati ke liye hum phoolon ki pankhudiyan bichaye baithe hai. Come back na! Aap ke liye hum ek party bhi apne ghar pe karenge. Please come back.' (We are waiting with flower petals for Rati. Please come back. We will have a grand party at our place for you!)

SBO forums and the STAR One website have also been flooded with requests for Rati's re-entry on the show. One of Rati's fans Pari says on forum, 'OhIi simply love Gunjan's eyes, Samrat can also be very nice, Mayank and Nupur can start world war three, I wonder when will they together be!!!!'

Amyluvsmayur misses Rati terribly on seeing Mayank or a flashback of Nupur, saying: 'And I keep missing Nupur more every time I see a flashback or even seeing Mayank...knowing that I might never see Nupur shouting his name again or coming over to him or....Darn I am getting emotional again so I will let it be...I hope she comes back.'

A fan of Rati's, Sush, says on the STAR One website, 'Bring back Rati. I, along with many other fans, haven't watched MJHT since she left...and we won't till she comes back. Please bring Rati back.'

Gini wants the entire Excel alumni to be together once more, saying: 'Losing Rati is not at all good............I love all four - Rati ,Arjun, Mohit and Sanaya, and believe that the four of them together complete MJHT. Nupur's character was the strongest of all ... Waiting to see Rati with a great re-entrance and a new character back in the show....'

The MJHT page on Facebook has also had a number of fans asking for Rati to come back on the show. One of the show's loyal fans, Veeral Kaku, says: 'The serial appears very boring without Nupur. Please bring her back, but that should be played only by Rati and no one else!'

Mayur Arti believes that Rati was the heart and soul of MJHT, saying: 'Bring Rati Di back… Bring Nupur back…. Bring Mayur back… Bring MJHT back.'

Now all fans of Rati Pandey have a reason to rejoice! Their requests have been granted! Rati Pandey will be making a re-entry on Miley Jab Hum Tum, starting from August 2. Will she again portray Nupur, Gunjan's sweet sister and Mayank's strong wife? How will Gunjan, Mayank and Samrat react to her re-appearance? Will Rati be able to resolve the differences that have cropped up between the three? Time will tell.
