oooo that was strong !😲
I see your point and its different from mine, so good , we can share !😉you are right , I AM the kind who believes in FAIRYTALES ..... that's what my dreams are made of....😍but what's BACKWARD about it ?😊 And dear , as for REALITY, I personally have enough of it around me in my life,at my work and home and all around ... I wudnt go to a show to look for too much reality ,atleast not the harsh ones, beyond a certain overall credibility and beauty in the storyline and characterisation...having said that, I dont say FIRST love as in first love ... let me explain .... I do not want anyone in Maan's life to have (or have had) the special place that Geet has ... because I LOVE to think that the Maneet relationship is very special ... and nothing or noone has touched Maan like Geet has..... and somewhere I hear you also say that,( if I hear you right )🤣Cheers !VJ
Agreed too much reality can suck but I think this show does have a good balance of real and fiction. Adding a fairytale lovestory I think would kill this balance. Anyway, what makes you think Geet will hold a place in his heart that has been occupied before? From their interactions it is clearly evident no one has ever pushed Maan's buttons the way Geet does and he has never felt the way he does for anyone else. Granted Sameera was a past love, it doesn't mean his depth of feelings for Geet will be the same. She's not getting a second-hand man rather him being able to care so much about Geet especially after all the pain he has been through clearly shows Geet's place in his life is sooo much higher.
That's why I'd like to see Sameera be a past girlfriend. So he can reflect on both women and consciously admit his feelings for Geet are so much stronger and that she means so much more to him than Sameera ever could. Showing that the Maaneet bond is greater than Deveet or Maan/Sameera. And that's why I find such stories better as you get to see a couple establish they've found a greater love then they initially thought they'd get...
The main thing backward about fairytale-like romances is the audience not accepting the protagonists moving on and also the unreal expectation it gives people about what a real relationship is - IMPERFECT and lots of hard work!!!
