According to me a women does not and cannot forget the family that raised her, loved her, and took care of her since childhood just because she gets married. I feel she has been trying extremely hard to balance her duties between her family, in laws, as well as her husband. But when this is taking place I don't see any understanding or sympathy from her in laws. Though this is expected since they never support her no matter what the situation may be, I can understand they feel her father being in jail is not that serious because they are used to violence etc, but they fail to see from her POV, and have never let any opportunity pass by them where they did not taunt her for caring about her family when the elections are so much more important. Seriously their behavior towards her is very sad, yet she has always respected them and cared for their well being.
SS went to get her father out of prison I would have liked this gesture if he did not have an ulterior motive behind his actions. Fine he tried to help them but he put in an extra amount of effort because it is election time, and he did not want any bad publicity to affect him. SS can go to any extant for his selfish needs, he never even though about his daughter before he stated to the media that he broke all relations with prats family and how nice angad was. My point is that Krishna's family will do anything as long as they are getting something out of it .
Let's not compare Prats to Kesar, prats has the strength to stand up against any injustice done to her. Kesar has become accustomed to doing what she is told to do without complaining, and nothing is going to change unless she decides to do something about her situation.
I think it's wonderful she has begun portraying her feelings in front of her in laws, I see no problem she is not disrespectful in fact whatever she says she says very nicely. When she first entered this house she did not know what to expect was unaware of the family members personalities, but now she knows them better she is able to speak up more often.
