Angad Inspired And Continued Bidaai; Kinshuk Scared!
TellyCafe has reported earlier about the leap in Star Plus's 'Bidaai' and the further development that resulted in absence of two characters namely Sadhana (Sara Khan) and Ranveer (Kinshuk Mahajan). For continuing after the leap, each and every actor had thought of their own career and had taken decision either to continue or to quite the show.
As Kinshuk, on one hand, had quit the show for the reason of getting to essay an elderly role for which he was not ready, Angad Hasija has taken his role sportingly for the time being. Thus, we called Angad to take his stance on continuing the role of Alek in the show and he says, "Initially when I came to know about the leap, I got scared that now I have to essay a role of a father who has seven years old daughter. But later on I thought of Shah Rukh Khan, who has no issues with playing any character young or old. It made me remind the character 'Suriji' of Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and also the old character of Veer Pratap Singh in film Veer Zara where SRK had got into different characters without worrying about how he looks in spite of having romantic hero image".
"And then I made my mind that not to quit the show just because of character. I felt, when a superstar like SRK doesn't have to think of playing an older character why should he think to quit the show. After all at the end of the day I am just playing an older character on-screen and off-screen I am not that old. And my on screen daughter is also just 7 years old which is not a big issue to worry and co-incidentally I am again playing a mad guy in the show and I get to wear colourful t-shirts and behave like a child. So it was all Okay with me to essay a father of such a small kid."
What when this 7 years old daughter grows to 18 years young girl? "Well, then I have to take a call but right now, I am all fine with essaying a father."
Well Angad we wish all actors think like you then there will be so little replacement and track changes in TV shows. And let's see how far your inspiration takes you.
