Playing a father's role does not lessen your popularity.I don't know why some actors do not want to play father or mother?

It's true, but logically, what u see on-screen is not like real life, if you look at the history, people don't accept a hero to play a father so early in his career, thought it's weird, but it's true, it might happen, but it's so rarely........

Well, SRK started as a TV actor, so we really can't say that, as for now for both Angad and Kinshuk maybe it's like this, it's not wrong to play a father role, but if u look at TV and cinema, not everything is logical, actually to play a father role in very early point step in career is very risky.........

its all work hard..ig u get good script...and work hard u wil get famous like SRK
after coming to bollywood he didnt lose hope..some likes when moves ge flop they do 1 or 2 moves than thats it ,,they dont get ANY OFFER if u get good movie toh than its good for u and others too😆

What when this 7 years old daughter grows to 18 years young girl? "Well, then I have to take a call but right now, I am all fine with essaying a father."

You should still act angad... it will show how versatile you can be in various roles...

Hats off to you-Angad...you surely rocks...
but I don't think there is anything bad in Kinshuk's decision..its very early time of kinshuk's career..SRK's case was totally different..when SRK played a role of father in KKHH he was 30+ and that time he was more than a rising star (though he was not completely established but that time the popularity of 3 khan's were at peak level).and in film industry if an actor plays a father role in one film he can play a college going student in his next film..but in TV industry is totally different...the serials are long running..if an actor plays father role in a drama its tuff for him getting younger role in his next project...

Go Angad ,surely this will prove your verstality .
i read somewhere in a movie Sridevi played mother of a person twice her age when she was 13 yrs of age ,that proved how versatile she is and no wonder she became one of the biggest star of India later on . As an actor they should accept every role as a challenge .

I really like Angad's attitute towards the leap and his logic. But at the same time, it was Kinshuk's decision to quit and we should respect that.
Saying that, Angad is not really playing father to a 7-year old girl. Alekh is mentally unstable and acts like a child himself. Alekh is back to square 1, the difference is that he is not as violent as he used to be, and he's detached from reality. So I hardly see any versitality in Angad's role :((
And it makes me SO mad/sad because I KNOW Angad can pull any type of role of, but he's not being challenged and given the chance by Bidaai to do so.

angad's decision was well-thought out and valid too. it's very good to be inspired by someone.

but, I did not like the fact that his decision of not leaving bidaai was based on srk and only srk. "srk played a father, so can I" - srk did this and srk did that. the difference between srk and angad is that srk is well established, he has made a tremendous name for himself in this industry, and angad is still struggling. its nice to feel inspired and have an idol, but to judge his decision of leaving or not, totally on srk is wrong. to make a name for yourself in this industry, you cannot follow other people's footsteps, be their shadow. to make a name for yourself here, you have to take your own stand. make your own decisions. good or bad, whatever the outcome may be.

if you feel that being a father to a 7 year old daughter, will help you, then go ahead with bidaai. if you feel it won't, then quit. to think that srk played a father of an 8 year old, so can I, is wrong to do. - again don't get me wrong. I respect angad's view and his decision - just helping him out. to base your decision in the hands of another actor won't get you anywhere. you can't go through life thinking, how did this person do it, I can do it too. you have to make your own name for yourself. srk already did, and so can angad.

I don't have anything against angad. I have watched bidaai for angad's wonderful portrayal of a mentally unstable person, and again watching it for him. just shared my views, that its wrong to base your own decisions on someone else.

and again, I do not agree that to play a father role, won't get you anywhere in the tv industry. many television actors have done it. ksbkbt, kzk, are all good examples. many leaps, many children and father/mother roles, yet they are still well-known. - harshad chopda of kis desh fame, played a father to a 6 year old, it in no way, harmed his career. he is still going strong, and has gotten a new role of a lead, in a matter of four months. - just hard work and dedication counts to your work, then you will definitely get rewarded.

I hope angad will go far in the future. he seems like a decent lad who just does his work and goes home.

cheers,
aditi.
