Kudos to Krishna! That was a very mature and honest talk, giving it straight to her and not buying any of her bull anymore. Loved it when he asked her if she saw 'FOOL" written on his forehead and reiterated that he was not a fool. She had a clear opening with no one else there to come clean with the truth but yet again she chose not to, shows where loyalties really lie, doesn't it? With her Papa and not him.

I can see his passionate words from hollimoon "tum humre pyar ki kabil nahi ho. Choona tho bahut dhoor ki baat hai, ap dekhengi bhi nahi (which changed after he came home and wanted to save face with the family and the ridicule he knew will come his way, after all he had to live with them). Tab tum humare pyar ke liye tarasogi na tab bhi hum tumko pyar nahi karenge". I think this is yet to play out and that's where it's headed. What goes around comes around. Time for Prats to face the music. She is going to realize she had a gem of a man who loved her and she screwed up her life all on her own. Prof. can sit there hydrating himself with more chai while he cries buckets for ruining Prats's marriage while she tries to let her Papa off the hook. Saxena are the classic example for MISERY LOVES COMPANY.😆😆😆😆😆

I was surprised when Pratigya asked Krishna for a ride without blinking her eyes. If she had asked with him as a 'husband' it wouldn't have mattered. Even as a 'friend' also would not have mattered. But she considers him neither of that...that's where my worry is..she just shooed him away after reaching home previous day taking advantage of the situation between her brother and him...she knew he was upset with her behavior when she sent him away...she only confirmed that in her evening talk...And all the night and morning, she never bothered to put her case in front of him...this attitude of her bothers me more...she treats him like nothing...all I saw was yesterday she was surprised to see him not asking about maika and questioned him wouldn't he wanted to know? He was silent...and his indifference made no dent in her emotion...NONE...why bother about his feelings?

She is so consumed in her maika matters she didn't even invest in time to find out why Krishna is acting like that.

All she wanted was a ride to her maika...why and what basis she needs ride from him home to her maika? to insult him one more time and send him back?

And when Krishna raised his voice in the dinning table, she started crying...of course she is a girl she will cry...guess for what reason...she was crying because she thought he insulted HER...here also she was self-centered....never bothered why Krishna was acting like that...she knew Krishna was angry since previous day...but it never occured her to resolve the matter with him (at least from friendship sake also she could have tried consoling him. But....)

I agree he insulted her in front of his family. But what was that she did yesterday in her maika?

My version of Pratigya (Educated and caring) would have taken Krishna aside from all the people and requested him to give them some time alone so that her maika people can open up with her...

My Version of Pratigya would have sat for a moment and tried to think where it went wrong that Krishna became silent all of a sudden...oh, it was my behavior yesterday (she didn't know, Krishna knows half truth) that must have hurt him...let me patch up with him...he was trying to find the solution along with me

See, one need not be bound by LOVE or HUSBAND or FRIEND to do the right thing...it is just a basic curtesy from one human being to another...which is what Pearl Grey's Pratigya lacking right now...

Funny thing is all she wanted was a ride to home...and we all including Krishna made it a big fuss about it..isn't it...truth is, it is not about the silly things, it's about the motive and the thought process behind those silly things...

You're very right, it's basic human courtesy to think about why the other person is angry, and then to sit and solve it out with them. That's what I would have done had I been in Pratigya's shoes. I would have wondered what was my fault that he was screaming at me. But she doesn't think of him as a human with feelings. When has she considered what Krishna might feel? I cant remember one example. Again she had a chance to blurt out the remaining truth, again she kept quiet, meaning she does want to save the marriage (but keep it a marriage in name only).... Marriage means that both sides have to compromise on certain things. She wants everything on her terms.
And it was really sad how she was being very chummy today and buttering him up bringing him tea and smiling and saying "hummay humaray ghar chor do gay?" It seemed so selfish, she never smiles with him, Baba kuch bhi karle.... (only time she smiled was while remembering her college friends).
This smile seemed so fake, as if again she was using him. Am so glad Krishna has seen the light.
She's just crying now coz she's realized she's losing her "Get out of Jail free card" (aka Krishna, jo har mushkil waqt main FREE main kaam aaye, free meaning he gets nothing in return) like in monopoly.

No, I disagree with one point here, Pratigya CAN fall in love with somebody, but there's no two ways about it, the guy must meet her standards, he MUST mold himself to her preference, he must be the guy she used to dream about, like the guys in romantic novels. Given that is what EVERY girl wants. But, as I said in my last post, there's a difference in real life and fictional life, and in real life, every girl compromises on one aspect or the other. Both of them have to mold themselves to adjust with and understand each other.
All the effort I've seen comes from Krishna, none whatsoever from Pratigya, apart from living intermittently at his house and laying out his clothes. If she doesnt want a divorce, she must learn to adjust, any educated or uneducated woman knows this.

elle45, Pratigya and thinking should never been used in the same sentence.😛 This timid girl puts on an act of being strong. She may think she is an shining example for women for the viewing masses in smallt towns across India but they must be warned. Taking a fictional character's foolish choices and acting on it will guarantee they will get killed or maimed.

When has she accomplished anything worth mentioning on her own. She has conned Krishna with her "dekho samajthe kyin nahi" to the other extreme of "tum hamare patni hai, ye bar bar muth bolo". She can't even hear him just say she's his wife, how the heck is she going to be one at all? Krishna should dump her sorry behind at Mumfordgunj and leave the whole sorry lot of them to fend for themselves. Komal is smart enough to give them an extra dose of reality checks to last a lifetime. She knows when and how to embarass them that they wouldn't dare to show their faces in broad daylight anywhere in Mumfordgunj. Hypocrites indeed.

I'd like to see what Prof. is going to do when the truth is revealed publicly about his gudiya having spent a night with Angad. Let's not forget he didn't believe his daughter was pure as fresh snow falling off the skies either. How is this Gandhiji wannabe going to live with himself when he realizes he ruined his daughter's life all by himself and hurt an innocent man instead bec' of his stupidity. And let's see how Prats proves to Krishna she isn't a slut/fallen woman like Dadi and her Papa believe. Would she be doing her Papa japa if she had heard what her father had to say about her? Knowing her Papa has such a despicable opinion of her will destroy her world.

If Pearl Grey really wants to show us reality in this fictious show, let's see the bewakoofi Sucksenas get a few reality checks and their just rewards for their ridiculous so called pade-like choices. They give educated people a bad reputation.
