Maan has come a long way, as beautifully explained in another post on this forum
I hope that they don't change Maan much beyond this-- even once he realises his feeling for her, he will still be in a situation where Geet doesn't feel the same way; I think that whoever hurt him in the past damaged his self-esteem (when it comes to his own attractiveness to women) and I don't think he'll feel that he can attract Geet in love.
It will be interesting to see how the CVs play this out
Some options
1. He starts to treat Geet even worse, whilst dying on the inside to just pull her close and declare his love; meanwhile he starts to protect her from the evil Sasha somehow-- this will either make Geet even stronger, and intensify Maans feelings, or it will lead to a huge emotional confrontation where she says to him I don't know why you are treating me like this-- at this point Maan either confesses, or plays the "I'm sorry lets be friends" card
2. He accepts his love, and starts to think about how to make Geet fall in love with him-- this seems too boyish for MSK-- he is an emotionally repressed man, I don't think he'd even know how to make Geet think of him that way
3. Something happens forcing Maaneet to marry (Dadi, the revelation of Geet's pregnancy, Dev does something)-- he forces Geet to marry him platonically, thinking her to be in love with the father of her child- this can lead to either option a-- where he is angry with her, or option b- where he understands that she was betrayed, and just wants to protect her
I like option 3b myself-- I want them married, so Geet is protected from Dev and Naintara at least a little; I want them to be able to grow together, similar to the way Milind and Prachi did, I want them to be forced to spend time together alone-- and they will have to if they are married. It would also be cool to see Geet continue to come to work even after they are married.
I am also really glad that the CVs have backed away from the track where they were showing Geet starting to fall for Maan-- I don't know if they read the forums, but it was waaaaaaay too soon to show her smiling and quaking at the thought of him. This girl has been severely traumatised, and in some way raped (after all, Dev slept with her knowing that he was going to dump her-- how must she feel knowing that she gave herself to such a man), following which she was almost killed by her own brother. It would be way too soon to show her having any soft emotions yet-- she night be aware of Maan (let's be honest, what thinking woman wouldn't!!) but I don't think she feels anything except maybe a bit of gratitude, although I think that she instinctively knows that he will always be there for her
