That's what I'm saying - he's such a flawed character, so selfish, so hypocritical and so chauvinist. I can count at least 4 people like that who I know off in my own extended family! So he is pretty realistic to me - absolutely humane. I just hate him because I hate that generic KIND of people - the hypocritical chauvinists, I mean.. 😆

I agree! This show has it's "positives" but it always equals that out with the "negatives". NO one person is holier-than-thou. Every one has flaws that co-exist with their good qualities. So while Shree is a chauvinist, he also cares a lot for his parents and I've seen him repent in the street that day (when he yelled at Mugda for Baba's medicines). It's realisitic - no one's perfect. Not Shree, not Mugda, not Baba, not Aayi, not Nishi and not Pragya. Not even Devki's perfect! 😃
