That video was an interesting moment in time-- like Aish & Salman, I was quit sure Shilpa & Akki would never see eye to eye... Clearly this video proved us wrong. But unlike Aish I feel Shilpa was a failed celebrity - then of course, Big Brother happened. Her life changed dramatically!! She was always ambitious but after that she really became media-greedy... :-) She's released her line of perfumes, yoga videos and I don't even know what else. So basically at the end of her career she's known for everything else (included a woman who raked a marriage and wedded someone who's basically like her [Raj Khunda is power/media hungry, it's not even funny])... To her credit she never belonged to any group or camp... It was all her that brought herself where she is today -- again the emphasis is on ambitious...
At that point in life - Akki was clearly married with a child (happily Married) ;-) and he hasn't stayed in touch with Raveena or Shilpa all this time. For Akki it's always been about public & publicity... Good actor and all but he always had to prove himself -- time and again... So this event (on video) was just that -- he is someone that thinks from head -- not heart... And that's why he doesn't "allow" himself to get hurt...
While on Aish & Salman -- complete opposite to Shilpa & Akki... Salman as we can all agree to be a devout family man. I don't know if he ever hurt Aish (Physically) but he is a different person today then he was 10 years ago. More grounded and chilled. Those days he was competing with Akki on who is the best/worst Casanova of all time... ;-) Akki left the race after tying the knot with Twinkle but Salman remained there -- so I guess he won.... ;-))) Of course, that's just my theory…
Aish found the much needed success by being with Salman.. Doing the movie with him and being around him opened a lot of doors. If anyone disagrees with this statement then you're clearly fooling yourself. Her natural beauty is one thing (for wish she did win a crown) but her acting sucked -- big time.
I remember how crazy in love Salman was with Aish... She was too but her mother never approved. For one thing - Salman had so many failed relationships and second she wanted her daughter to stay focused with her career. I think this may have caused some initial problems in the relationship (which was around on loose ends)....
Coming to close my statement -- Salman comes from a family of film makers and almost 80% of his family is in film business. He has stayed strong all throughout his career and is still considered a HOT entity -- this is after 20+ years in the industry...
Aish on the other hand -- well her resume reads like no others. She's made all the right decisions which has only made her stronger and most powerful Woman. She doesn't need to prove anything nor does need any financial support. She's still doing movies - even after being married for 3 years... Will continue working until it's time to say "adios"...
