I had trained in singing for almost 15 years and it was my father's dream to see me as a successful singer. However, I was more inclined towards acting and chose not to inform him while I was busy doing small skits and ads. I hid the truth specifically to avoid being scolded. I informed him when I was about to sign 'Radha Ki Betiyaan', as it was going to be on national television. I was scared of his comments but all I got was an 'OK'. And it carried the message loud and clear. I was really touched by his gesture.
