She's been charmed by the chhote nawab, Saifoo, of course. Deepika Padukone and Saif Ali Khan shared great on-screen chemistry in Love Aaj Kal, though the two didn't really go on to become back-slapping buddies.
Well of course, with Kareena around the corner, it was a kinda far-fetched possibility. But now Deepika is getting close to another member of the royal family. It's Sharmila Tagore. The lovely ladies are shooting together in Mauritius, and our sources tell us that Saif's mommy has really taken a liking to Deepika. Apparently, she thinks Deepika is one of the most talented and beautiful girls in the industry today. Obviously, Ms Dee can't stop gushing with joy, with such compliments coming from a true talented beauty. Wonder what Saifoo has to say about Mommy's choice? In fact, we'd love to know Bebo's reaction too. Over to Saifeena...

I have seen sharmila talk a lot about deepika. Sharmila always been my favorite from the old generation and deepika is part of my new favorite generation. It's great that they are going to be playing mom and daughter. Can't wait to see them together.
