Nagesh moves away from Mukta Arts

Nagesh Kukunoor and Mukta Arts were considered a hot combination after making the sensitive film 'Igbal'. But they seem to have parted ways, much to the disappointment of film lovers. Sources said that they are no longer together.

Nagesh was not happy with Subhash Ghai, as he was not giving due importance to his project. The fact is that Subhash Ghai was busy with his other films like 'Apna Sapna', 'Money Money' and '36 China Town' and not giving enough attention to Nagesh. Now, Nagesh is making a film titled 'Aashayein' without Subhash.

It is said to be an emotional drama and woman-oriented film. The director is planning to cast Shreyas Talpade in the film but the female lead is yet to be finalized. Vidya Balan was tipped for the lead role but could not make it because of her busy schedule.
