There are other better movies in which he has acted in, like Black Friday, Dil Se etc..., but those weren't major roles(although Black Friday had a considerable amount).

I totally agree with prabha. Daya has been given very little opportunity in the industry.. He has only done cid, johny gaddar, runaway (that too a role of an inspector) and now gutur gu (that of again fireworks production) . Seeing his potential he could have become a successful actor like shahrukh khan cause he has got the looks, the body and the acting skills.
In our film industry there are so many altu faltu actors that have made it big so why can't a talented actor like daya make it? 😔

We don't know what he really wants...maybe he is just not that keen. He is happy being Insp Daya and doesn't have time for anything else. I don't understand why people think that if someone doesn't make it big in the film industry, it is because he failed in his attempts...it could be that it is his personal choice, isn't it?

that's correct. In an article i had read that Daya hardly gets time for doing anything else other than the serial CID and drama. He was a theatre artist earlier and i think he continues to be even now. He must have taken up Gutr gu on the request of fireworks production.

Guys, I feel that Aditya Srivastava, aka Abhijit in CID, is a capable and wonderful actor. He is a versatile actor and a perfectionist, as seen in the Behropiya episode. I was shocked by the way he played the role of the antagonist so perfectly and effortlessly. I mean, you should've seen his eyes gleaming with madness and rage when he was playing the Behropiya. He was also very apt in his roles in movies like Satya, Black Friday etc.. I just feel bad that he hasn't been offered many roles in movies or he had a brilliant career ahead of him.

I will be satisfied only when he bags an award for acting in any of the tv award functions. Because i have seen people who act worse but manage to win because of their show's popularity. Recently the show has given him numerous oppurtunities to showcase his skills, range of expressions etc. He deserves an award this year.

I agree with u fully. I missed the episode Beheropia but i know the story, heard it from a friend. yea he must get many offer but anyways wht ever he is doing is simply great and we can pray for him for a successful future ahead.

i feel aditya sir is d best bollly actor!!
