There are many filmmakers who still want to cast the actress, including veteran filmmaker Yash Chopra. He has offered her a role in his upcoming movie. The actress didn't deny that Chopra had offered her a role but said it was too early to talk about it because everything was at the discussion level only. Madhuri, who captivated the hearts of millions with performances in "Tezaab" (1988), "Beta" and "Saajan", moved to the US after marrying Sriram Nene, a doctor by profession. Last month, after a long gap, she made an appearance at the 51st Fair One Filmfare awards function and gave a superb dance performance, choreographed by Saroj Khan.
MADHURI Dixit is all set to make a return to the silver screen after her marriage to a US-based doctor – and two lovely sons – but says she will sign only those films that can be shot in the US where she is now based. According to media reports, Madhuri has made it clear that she will not work full time because her children are very small and need her. Despite these embargoes, there are many filmmakers in India who are willing to sign on the talented and beautiful actress. The star of such films as Tezaab, Dil, Saajan, Devdas and Dil to Paagal Hai, enjoys a good rapport with most of the top actors and finding a good script to work on should not be much trouble for her. Among those filmmakers who still want to cast the actress, is Yash Chopra who is rumoured to have offered her a role in his upcoming movie. Last month, after a long gap, she made an appearance at the 51st Filmfare Awards function in Mumbai, where she gave a superb dance performance, though she was suffering from fever just minutes prior to the show. Madhuri is holidaying in Mumbai these days with her two sons -- three-year-old Arin and one-year-old Ryan – apart from reading scripts and meeting directors. |
