Welcome to this world. Most people either do not know or do not care. Most people just want to speak their mind and don't care.

Anyway, I myself do not know much about the Naxalite movement to comment much in detail.

The fact remains that they are home grown terrorists. As such swift and stringent action must be taken against those who conduct violent acts. At the same time it appears that a lot of them are from impoverished places and are recruited easily due to the lack of other positive options they have. If we need a long term solution we have to find and eliminate the cause.

i heard that they had, in fact, DENIED any responsibitlity...as par the news until yesterday..
but now, news of a seperate lobby within the PCPA seems to have surfaced.....a team supposdly led by Bappi and Umanath Mahato.
but i agree with Vinu....the possiblity of a pre-poll conspiracy cannot be totally deleted.😃

Theres a time for "holding talks" and then there is time for "taking action" . When so many innocent lives have been lost due to any deliberate act of violence , it obviously faals under the later category.
Whatever may be the grouse that a person or group of persons have it does not give them the licence to indulge in mindless killings of innocent ppl.

^^ i have to agree, Angie, but at the same time it must also be taken in well by all of us that its time that the mindless oppression and neglect of Tribals and Marginal groups in Bankura and purulia has to be put a STOP to....the Government must AT LEST NOW sit up and take heed- and stop this ordeal !
Operation Green Hunt must be stopped along with the loot, murder and rape of innocent tribals that goes on in the underbellies of the region.

yes krystal, oppression of any section is bad esp the weaker section. But is violence the solution ? Isnt that oppression in another form - opression of the innocents ?
