Designer Anna Singh launched her new collections, Art Icons, at Pradeep Hirani's Kimaya yesterday.

The collection is a marriage of fashion and art and is inspired by old Christian art icons, offset with contemporary adjectives.

There is a variety of old religion, fun figures and cartoons. Anna, who had personally hand-painted 50 shirts for the past three months, is thrilled.

She says happily, "The show was a sellout. All the icon painted shirts have gone. People who mattered and are special to me came except Ajay (Devgan) who had gone for the CM's function in Pune, Salman who was in Jodhpur and Abhishek (Bachchan) who had a sudden bout of flu and couldn't make it at the last moment. I missed them terribly."

But most of the Bollywood glam brigade was there including Bobby Deol, Hrithik and Sussanne Roshan, Jackie Shroff, Sunaina, Rahul Khanna, Isha Sharvani, Kunal Kapoor, Farah and DJ Aqeel, Zayed and Malaika Khan, Kabir Bedi, Kumar Gaurav and Namrata, Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Pradeep Guha, AD and Sabina Singh and Raju and Esther Daswani and they more than made up for it.

"Little warrior, task master, masterji…" are a few among the dozen names that Onir (of My Brother Nikhil fame) has earned on the sets of his latest baby, Bas Ek Pal.

The cast informs that they have been harassing the director with their pranks. In fact, Onir was forced to chop his long hair after an overdose of comparisons being made with Urmila's mane. Talking about her experiences Urmila gets gaga about her experience of driving an open-air jeep.

"A few days back, we were shooting at Marine Lines and scene had us driving cars. The guys (Sanjay Suri, Jimmy Shergill, Rehaan Engineer were relegated to an Opel. I even hooted at them during our shots."

Adds Sanjay Suri, "It took me three films to share screen space with Urmila. In Pinjar, she gets kidnapped and even in Harry Baweja's Speed we don't share a frame. Finally, we have made it in this…"

The moment did call for loads of smiles, but what was he thinking when he went up jumping and screaming in front of the screen for his papa dearest? Relax, Abhishek. maybe you need to learn a thing or two more from your dad. Get classy, if not more!

Kareena-Harman part amicably

Kareena backed out from her commitment of working in Harman's Baweja's launch film.

But Harry Baweja claims all's well between the actress.

Apparently it was an amicable decision.

He even sent us a letter signed by both that there were no hard feelings.

Harry, we think you are protesting too hard.

PZ: Bips ke tips

It's all about doing things the right way. Preity could learn a thing or two from Bipasha. PZ went to town screaming herself hoarse and sending legal notices when the Salman tapes came out in print.

Compare that to Bips, when the alleged Amar Singh tapes were splashed, Basu sent a written statement to everybody.

She still brings up the tapes and rambles on about being targeted (yawn!). Relax babe, the people have already gone to sleep on this one…zzzzz…Zinta baby!
