gaurav tells meena krishna is a part of this family. meena says no one knows krishna's parents, krishna is a haram's child. gaurav slaps meena.
meena goes to walk out of the house the next day with a suitcase. bhagyashree says its not good to leave the house and she will make gaurav say sorry. meena says he wont say sorry because he feels he didnt make any mistakes, but she has self respect, she wont return til he comes to her moms house and says sorry. gaurav comes. bhagyshree scolds gaurav and tells him to say sorry to meena. meena smirks thinking gaurav will say sorry. gaurav tells meena to greet her mayka for him. meena lives with ganti following. gaurav says he didnt want to stop meena, she will come back herself.

bhagyashree says to bapuji meena must have made a a mistake because gaurav must have a good reason for his behavior. bapuji says its not right for a bahu to stay in her mayka. bhagyashree says both the bahus are so different, the badi bahu didnt listen to her and left before he came back from mandir, and the choti bahu has to suffer so much for shivam's mistake, she told astha to stay with her mayka but she refused saying this is her home. adoption agency manager calls the home and tells bapuji she wants to talk to astha, the kid hasnt slept since he came back to the adoption agency, he is sick, hes probably used to astha, it would be good if astha came to help him. bapuji refuses but astha folds her hands, so he agrees.
once astha arrives in the car she runs and asks for krishna and runs to him. krishna is crying. doctor says the fever will go down once krishna goes to sleep. astha holds krishna and kisses him and sees he has a fever. astha walks around with krishna and puts him to sleep. doctor says the fever went down a little. the manager thanks astha. astha says what is there to thank, all mothers, to call her if krishna needs anything. astha cries and walks away.

astha tells bhagyashree that krishna got so big, when she held him after so long, she felt like life came back to her dead body, she hasnt talked this much in days, she sang a lorry and put him to sleep, her child was sad without his mom. astha goes to the mandir and thanks god for making her meet krishna. while praying with her eyes closed, astha's sari catches on fire. astha prays not to let this diya go, her life will get easier like this and to give krishna courage to live without her. astha's sari is still on fire and doesnt realize it.
