Well I may not have been in Mumbai, but I was in NY on 9/11 and still I am not for the death penalty. If even one innocent man is put to death, it is worse than letting 10 murderers run free. And it has happened before, and will happen again.

A life sentence is actually a far worse punishment. To rot in prison until your last breath is no luxury. Most people would probably rather die.

So, going by your logic, it is OK, if instead of killing Kasab, we set him free, so that he goes back to his LeT group, who will further terrorize and kill thousands and thousands of people?

It may not be as drastic as this but I hate to imagine that Income Tax I pay after working so hard is being used to protect and feed this creature.

Exactly, I don't understand why these creatures are kept alive for years even after verdict is out. Also these Human Rights people suddenly show up. Why weren't they on the VT station when this guy shooting innocent people shouting their Human Right Slogan, why now. Such rats, all this for publicity.

I am not supporting him being send to life imprisonment, Prabha Di. I want him dead. But seriously, if he is let free, of course he'll go back. Life sentence, IDK, as you said waste, of money, and what else does a person need other than a place to stay and 3 square meals....I wouldn't be surpised if Kasab himself thanks the Indian government for giving him 'the heavenly abode'. It will also give the terrorists warning, although I doubt that will really move them. And what right does he have to live in a country where he killed some hundreds of innocent people?
