The film is about Prem (Shahid) and Poonam (Amrita) their marriage is arranged. Prem and Poonam go through the most magical and romantic moments of their lives, six months pass by and just when everything is set for their wedding day, a fire puts Prem and Poonam's love to a test.

i lovedd this movie. its my fav. i cried so much in this movie.

What did you think about the characters?

the characters were awesome. the one character i didnt like was amrita's mami.

besides amrita and shahid my fav was shahid's bhabi and amrita's sister.

What did you think about the music?

the music was beautiful. i love each and every song.

I enjoyed Hum Aapke Hain Kaun and Hum Saath Saath Hain, so I was excited for Vivah - and it disappointed HUGELY. I just did not like anything about this movie.

What did you like about Vivah? What didn't you like about it?

I liked nearly everything about this movie it is my fav! the love story was amazing! the characters were loveable and simple, wat i loved about the movie was that it showed an arranged marriage in a very positive light---wich is very good as 60% of marriages in INDIA are arranged!! this movie was adorable!! sum scenes just touch ur heart and never it looks fake! shahid acts sooo well that his character does not look unbeleivable--which was a challenge--as it is hard to digest such a sweet, kind boy in today's generation who loves his fiancee sooooo much! i love the terrace scene, love the song milan abhi adha adhura, phone convos, and offcourse their marriage! wat i didn' like about the movie---a lil outdated wid 'jal' and all

very nice--but not sumthing i will listen to on my ipod---but the music really compliments the movie!!

this movie got me hooked up to rajshiri and i watched all the old movies again and loved them! wat i luv abou s. bharjatya films that it is very positive! and show indian culture/fasmilies/marriages in a very sacred and beautifu way! a complete change from those idiotic negative saas-bahu serials!

What did you like about Vivah? What didn't you like about it?

I liked the Lead,obviously😆..Ah,no...Actually i always have a soft spot for Rajashri movies..I ..Like homely,clean,family movies..!!..the fact that there's a movie which i can see with my Family,is like greaat..!!!..Vivah had the correct amount of emotions,some commendable acting,chemistry ..so Yes...
Many bad things as well..Old fashioned...Yes..Unrealistic..Yes..No one like Prem exists in the world now😆...Sweetness overload,yes...I believe Vivah's more like a fluke hit for Shahid..U never know what clicks with the audience...!!.I would certainly not want him to do vivah type of movies,one is enough..😆...It has given him a lot of after effects in his personal life as well😆...

As i said,the characters were too perfect to be true..!!..

Who were your favorites, besides Amrita and Shahid?
Oh,amrita's chachi..!!..Some grey shades,thank god😛

What did you think about the music?
I love the music,even though some of the lyrics are Ridiculous😆

i know people like prem-it is not impossible to be nice and be in a loving relationship! i feel it is realistic! as there was enough negativity by other characters like the chachi and all lol and they did explain the whole dowry/wedding system also, and the whole point was to show this family as the ideal family for the daughter to be married in! i love shahid doing sweet roles, tired of his BC sort of roles, he is young and cute---love him in love stories like JWM AND VIVAH
