This is not about whether suhana needs to learn or the rest of the family needs to cater to her. This is about the decision taken by the elders of the family. They took a wrong, uneven and unfair decision. Badi Ma, even knowing all facts instinctively refused. Technically if it weren't for Rano, no one would have even considered the idea. From rajni, disha and every other child of the family's perspective, it was not a fair decision. but they never for a second showed jealousy or remorse. they were all just happy for suhana. but no one spared their feelings a thought and took it for granted that they would understand. that wasn't right.

Its very natural the way disha and rajni reacted. as for them learning, they will now never go hang out in suhana's room again, so lesson learned. Bravo!!

Yes, Jiya.....😛..... Badi maa never wanted to agree for the same as she could foresee these turns of events.... Radha Bua was totally looking into Ishaan's perspective and convinced her to agree for the same... Rano too in her naive attitude demanded one expecting Suhana's happiness and ignoring other aspects.... Decision was done and all is implemented.... Now Badi Maa's point is 'It's no use crying over spilt milk' .... what could have been avoided is all done with.....

Now possibly it is time for rectification.... Speaking over the issue to Rajni and Disha will make them more supportive to Badi Maa and they will willingly give space for Suhana.....😃

And secondly, i think everyone is trying very hard to be supportive of suhana, the woman doesn't move a finger and has fresh coffee, juice everythin served to her. special treatment in the form of AC, but i did not see rajni/disha complain even once about any of that. to expect them to completely cater to suhana's exclusivity and ignore the togetherness that is the foundation of kashyap household is unreasonable and unrealistic.

well said. i think the danger is that rajni/disha will end up giving suhana so much space that she will be almost like a non-member of the household. You know what they say right, be careful what you wish for.

I think putting A/C in Sushaan room was not a bad thing in itself. What the family should have done was before putting the AC in the newly weds room, explain to each sub-unit that its not because there is anything against them but because Suhana has been raised in comforts and luxury and may take more time to adjust.

I think Badi Ma shooing them away unceremoniously caused more damage than Suhana's reaction. Badi ma should have called Rajni aside and told her that everyone congregating in Suhana's room will create discomfort for Suhana, so for a few days not to barge in but allow the new bride some space to breath.

I think the elders in this joint family will have a tough time balancing this act for a while. They got a girl for Ishaan who is much much much above their station in life. They should have anticipated these issues. And that my friend is the heart and soul of SGP story, the conflict that will define the sub-plots in the serial for a long time to come. :-)

well put. i agree completely. i wonder why badi ma reacted so strongly. i think she is getting tired and nervous about the possible future hungama.....

The installation of AC would have created problem sooner or later. The other two are also daughter-in-laws, and I presume from a well to do families. A week of special treatment to the new bahu, but if Suhana's attitude and elders pampering and ignore attitude continue, it may snow-ball into something big.

The way badi ma asked them to leave the room was completely wrong. She believes that they won't mind for long and everything will become normal. But, these small incidents may result in a glass crack.

Suhana does not see the point ... that AC has been installed only in her room. Badi Ma should have pointed that out to her, and also made others realize that she is new and needs time to become part of the family.

Jiya...my statement def. did not mean giving space to make Suhana feel like a non-member of the household.......😆... ....She has been in a nuclear family and has not been used to crowd.... Giving her some space to atleast come to the comfort zone with others is not unfair ....in my POV.

Animals can be tamed with love and affection....Here Suhana is a human being....can't she be won by love and affection.... ?

ok...agreed Jiya....she does not move a finger.... does have the edge over others for everything...... can't one give her some time atleast to even realise all these done to her are truly an edge over others.....? Has it dawned on her that she is being treated at par compared to others dear..... ? Many things are yet to be spilled in a way that she realises the importance given to her , importance of marraige, importance of the family members in her life and all these i am sure will put a barrier in her thinking to even consider moving out of the relationship with Ishaan....😛

As pointed out by someone, Rajni & Disha were more hurt as they thought Suhana had complained about this...

agree it was not correct decision to install AC only in Suhana's room but still rest of the family agreed to it and did not mind it at all. But does it make sense now to barge in someone else's room and overtake all bed space.... the only sitting place in Suhana's room. And that too a new family member. Elesh and Disha simply lie down in the bed...This behaviour is outrageous!! how about in a scenerio when the AC might have been installed by Suhana'a dad... Do you think these people would have behaved differently then?

And I do not think anything wrong in badi maa's behaviour. Rajini & Disha are much married women.. such childish behavior can not be expected from them..Instead of badi maa, it should have been these two who should have asked others to move out of the room.. Kids are OK.. but grown man lying in other bahu's room.. simply disgusting

Here's a question i would like to ask you - why is always ONLY the new bahu's responsibility to adjust in her sasural and to completely mould herself according to her in-laws? the family got Ishan married to Suhana knowing her rich and lavish background. so why is it only upto Suhana to completely change herself for that house. doesn't the house have any responsibility to make some changes too and meet Suhana midway???

i have been married 11 yrs and i think in order to make relations work in one's sasural, it's very important for all parties to bring some adjustments and meet each other midway. otherwise, the relationships can never be healthy and wholesome!

Suhana has already given up a lot for the house. so if the house puts one AC in her room, Suhana completely deserves it!!

this is what i feel

1. badi maa could have explained to them without shouting at them...i think this worsened the situation...

2. as ilesh said..how did they all feel suddenly soo hot that they need to come to the ac room...

3.rajini and disha have a point to be angry as badi maa has never spoken to them like that...

4.i think badi maa should take rajini and disha to suhaana's room and make them understand from what background she is coming and that they have to give more time...

on the whole the most rrealistic episode i have ever seen...
