Hi guys,

Here is a gr8 experience i want to share with u all. Jevha 'Sattesathi Kahihi' film (Produced by Mr. Mahajani himself) release zali hoti tevha i saw the contact no. on the newspaper advertisement. (About 5 to 6 years back) Mala ajibat rahavala nahi. Me and my frnd contacted him on the tel. no. I thought some other person in the office will pick up the phone. But it was Ravindra Mahajani himself on line. Amhi jagche udaloch. I kept back the phone. I was afraid. Thenafter after two or three days, I gave a call again but i was again afraid and i kept back the phone. Immediately thereafter my phone rang and on the other side there was Ravindra Mahajani himself. (Caller ID u know) He directly asked me u r giving me calls but are hesitated to talk with me. That day we talked for about 40 to 45 minutes. (Unforgettable day in my life) he was talking very frankly and friendly but it was i who was foolish who was hesitated to talk. Anyway, he asked me about my hobbies, education, what kind of work i do and so may things. that time he was in Kandivali, Thakur Complex. But this was a gr8 experience.

Ravindra Mahajani seems really a kind hearted man! Thanks aarya for sharing your sweet experience. We common people are in love with the screen image of our favorite actors and actresses and at our subconscious level we think that they will be just the same in real life. When their screen image matches to their real life image, we start loving and respecting them even more...seems this is what happened in your case. I always liked Ravindra Mahajani but after reading your experience, I respect him now 😊

Daya Dongre's gopikabaai in Swami was superb. She also acted in another popular serial I think Aavhaan - Sunechaa chhaaL, hunDaabaLi, etc theme hoti. It was long time back and I was in school at that time so don't remember the details correctly but I think Nishigandha Wad was in bahu's role, Uday Tikekar was the husband, and Atmaaraam Bhende was saasarebuvaa.
It was based on Pudhacha Paaul marathi movie. This movie was the only one where Late NiLu fule played nicer role - I mean he wasn't in negative shade. He was excellent as Villan but this role was also fantastic.
Talking about Swami serial - Rama was Mrunal Dev-Kulkarni and Ravindra MankaNii was Madhav. Excellent serial apratim hoti. Miss it greatly.

I think Nilu phule played the girls' father while Yashwant Deo (the actor..I think) played Saasrebua to the girls in tht film...
Yes Avhan ws really a good show..I rem I so used to feel sorry fr Nishigandha...and Uday Tikekar..khup raag yaycha....😆...And Atmaram Bhende ws just too good as the sasrebua...
