Its Nupur's mehndi going on......Nupur is dressed up in a light green and yellow coloured lehnga......music going on......

Gunjan starts singing...teasing Nupur "Mehndi lagaaungi main sajna ke naam ki.....kuch na khabar mujhe ab subah shaam ki...." Nupur smiles and pats Gunjan on her shoulder....

G: Accha accha chalo ab bohot ho gaya......Nupur ke mehndi main lagaungi..... saari bigaad doongi (with a naughty smile on her face)

N: Meri mehndi bigaadegi.....and she hits her hard.....

Everywhere celebration is going on......are you enjoying na....khaao piyo......koi formality mat karna OK.....

There in Mayank's house Samrat and some of his friends have arrived.....

S: Mayank tu shaadi karne ko tayaar ho gaya.......humein bhi toh bhabhi se milwaao.....

M: Accha...... tu usse mil chuka hai......

S: Kya....kaun hai wo..bata na.....

Mayank shows Samrat Nupur's photo......

Samrat was amazed to see her.....

S: Nupur......tu Nupur se shaadi kar raha hai.......

Mayank smiles and says "Haan"

S: Shaadi ke baad kya ghar mein Mahabharat ka program hai.....tum dono ek saath I can never imagine yaar......college mein to aise ladte the......

M: Zara flashback mein jaa aur bata.....ladta main tha ya tu....... hum dono ek doosre se baat bhi nahin karte the.......aur wo to ab bhi nahin karti (saying this he went in his thoughts)

S: Oohooo......lagta hai aag lag chuki hai.....udhar bhi aisi hi lagi hui hai na......haan...haan....and he starts teasing Mayank.......

Then Mayank's mom enters.........

MM: Chalo ab tum log aaraam kar lo thoda.....phir do ghante main tayaar hona hai.....baaraat ka time 7 baje ka hai......late nahin honi hai.....

S: Late aur Mayank.....Mayank toh shayaad time se pehle pohonch jaaye.....and they all start laughing.... but Mayank was smiling......

In Nupur's house......

G: Mehndi toh bohot acchi rachi hai.....isska matlab toh tujhe pata hai na.....repeat karna mujhe acha nahin lagta.......

Nupur smiles and a little blush crept on her face.....

G: Hayee......ab toh mera bhi shaadi karne ka mann kar raha hai......

N: Toh karle.....abhi aunty se kehti hoon.....koi na koi toh mil hi jaayega iss bheed mein......

G: Main toh Shahid se shaadi karungi......par tera Shahrukh zyaada accha hai.....

And they both start laughing......

Mayank is getting ready.....he is wearing the same brown sherwaani chosen by Nupur......

S: Yaar teri sherwaani ki choice toh bohot acchi hai...... acchi lag rahi hai.....

Mayank smiles.......

M: Isska credit kisi aur ko milna chahiye......

S: Ohhh...... Ok to ye kisi aur ki pasand hai.....Nupur ki haan.....

M: Haan....acchi hai na.....

S: Aur kya....ussne tujhe jo pasand kiya hai.......

Mayank then wears his stole......his sehra and the groom is ready.......looking really like a prince of some estate......

And the bride.....wearing her chudiyaan.....her necklace.....maang tika......then Gunjan draped her dupatta on her head......Nupur looking a perfect bride.....a smile of entering her new life.....a shyness of meeting her groom.....a joy of her marriage and a sadness of leaving her house.....only a bride can portray all these emotions together.....

"Aaj mere yaar ki shaadi hai......aaj mere yaar ki shaadi hai..." Song going on in baraat and all are dancing......Mayank the groom on the white horse...... going to take his bride with him......nervous, excited, happy all together........

"Arre bhai baraat aa gayyi hai" echoed in whole house when baraat entered at Nupur's house......

Someone's smile widened and shyness increased....its Nupur....

Baraat was welcomed with whole rituals at the door......Mayank was seated in the Mandap.....waiting eagerly for his bride......

"Om manglam bhagwan vishnu.....kanya ko bulaaiye" Panditji said in his typical voice....

Nupur came out of the room....shivering completely from head to toe.....Mayank looked at her.....perfect princess......looking down on the floor....Gunjan seated her beside Mayank......heartbeats increasing....but at the same time they are happy too.....

Rasm of Jaimala started...... Mayank puts the varmala around Nupur's neck everyone clapped and when Nupur was about to put the garland around Mayank's neck then Samrat and friends lifted him up.....Nupur couldn't reach till Mayank's height......atmosphere lightened up a bit with everyone's laughter.....but Mayank pinched on Samrat's hand and he abruptly dropped Mayank and Nupur puts the garland around Mayank's neck.....and everyone clapped......

Then Gunjan knotted Nupur's duppatta with Mayank's stole......Nupur's father performed the rasam of Kanyadaan......

"Var vadhu ka dahina haath (right hand) apne dahine haathe mein le.....ab dono pheron ke liye khade ho jaayein" Panditji said.....

These are the vows taken by them

After crossing seven steps with me thus, you should become my friend. I too have become your friend now. I will never discard this friendship and you should also not do that. Let us be together always. Let us resolve to do things in life in the same manner and tread the same path. Let us lead a life by liking and loving each other, having good hearts and thoughts, and enjoying the food and our strong points together. Let us have undivided opinions. Let me be the Shukla (Moon) and you be its wearer. Let me be the mind and you its spokesman (Vak). With these qualities, you be my follower. You the sweet tongued, come to me to get good children and wealth.

After the phere Mayank Nupur were seated back.......Mayank puts the vermilion into Nupur's maang.......then Mayank tied Mangalsutra around Nupur's neck....

"Ye shaadi sampann hui" Panditji said......

After that they took blessings of elder......Nupur was taken back to her room.....and Mayank was seated in the hall with other guests.........

Enjoy the food, sweets and drinks.....

After an hour or so Nupur was taken back.....its the time for her bidaai....she has to leave her house to start a new life with Mayank and his family.......whole atmosphere became gloomy.......Nupur hugged her parents, realitives, friends and Gunjan...... Gunjan wiped off her tears "Ab rona nahin...khushi khushi jaana"nd then Mayank-Nupur and Mayank's relatives came back.....Mayank and Nupur were seated in a separate car......Mayank looked at Nupur and gave her his handkerchief.....she looked at Mayank and took it.....she was satisfied in her heart that however she is leaving her home but she is going with someone who completely understands her and her feelings.....
