Simi's reasons for withholding information from Abhi was beyond insulting to me. If you trust and love someone, and another person hurts you, you do share with them what is bothering you. However, Simi has never been open and honest with Abhi. She's repeatedly insulted and demeaned him -
*She told him to mind his business when he went to great lengths to find dirt on RB to save her from marrying him
*She had no appreciation for the fact he sold his car to give her an engagement ring
*She agreed to marry Nakul despite commiting herself to Abhi
*She put his (Abhi's) life in danger by making him go to such extremes to save her from Nakul
* She consistently called him a child when he showed more maturity than her
*She humiliated him in front of her father when he came to ask for her hand in marriage
*She expected him to prove his love to her - and so the guy tried to electrocute himself
*She got upset with him when he found a way to raise the money for her father's surgery and get him to stay in the hospital
The list can go on and on and on; I've never liked the character of Simi since December and have waited a long time to see Abhi regain his dignity. I wish it would not have take this long and over this matter, but I guess they say better late then never?
Some people will justify Simi's actions by excuing them with explanations that she had her reasons or she had to please her family, the answer to all of this is BS. Simi knew darn well that Abhi would be upset and humilated with her behavior. She had Abhi look the fool in front of RB; there was the poor guy unaware that RB had propositioned his wife. He looked an absolute idiot. It was beyond humilating to know that someone was laughing at you behind your back.
So Abhi has a temper? I really can't believe Simi would think it would be so bad or he would be immature to have killed RB; that's not the Abhi we know or have seen over the months.
What disappointments me so much is the writers have completely forgotten that it is SIMI who shoud be thankful she has Abhi - she was the one who was rejected time and time again, she was the one who could not get a suitor. However, SIMI acts like her head is in the air as if ABHI should be thankful he has HER. This is the MAJOR flaw I see in this drama and if the writers do not close up this loophole, then they have truly shown their poor quality of writing.
I would hate to see Abhi to have to thrown it in her face as I did not like to see him push her, but somehow it's needed.
