When she saw her heart's desire on the mirror, she splashed it away with water. Today, she saw her heart's desire in the water itself. How do you wash away water? In other words, how does she get rid of Armaan who is a part of her identity? Its not possible.
Anyone with a pair of eyes could see the contentment in that smile. Personally I'll always remember this moment because it showed Riddhima at peace with herself, she was liking what she saw, she was HAPPY. She saw what she really wants from the bottom of her heart; Just her and Armaan, like it used to be. Does she need anyone else? Does she miss anyone else? No. I think that answers any doubts any group of fans have.
Its so hard to find true happiness and even harder for Riddhima at the moment to find even a moment of peace in her mind. They say you should never regret anything that made you smile. But she feels the guilt of being happy with another man, no wait, not any other man but her TRUE LOVE and that very guilt will make her distant from Armaan again (for the time being). She should be accused of betrayal but only for betraying her true feelings.
'Tumhari Basket margayi hai'. She was absolutely RIGHT when she said in that fire escape scene yet she came alive again as soon as Armaan called her by her infamous name 'Basket'
Why did she close her eyes? Why was there a gust of wind which shook her? Simply because Basket came alive again and very soon she will die....again 😊
So did she ever move on? Hmm. Yes she killed herself and created different being who accepted whatever was thrown at her. But for today, Basket was reincarnated only because of one man and we call him Armaan Malik.
