Rashi refuses to portray a role of a docile daughter-in-law for her college drama. Maami scolds Gopi for working slowly at home. Rashi asks her mother to send in her costume with Gopi to college. Gopi misses her bus as she stops to help an old lady. Rashi is furious at Gopi for interrupting the play. Indra requests Gopi to act in her play, but Rashi refuses to allow Gopi to replace her. Indra's parents and Indra are irritated with Kokilaben's attitude. Indra and her parents are shocked to know that Kokilaben has rejected Indra for her son Aham. Kokilaben tells the pandit to look for a docile daughter-in-law for her.
