Angad Hasija, born and brought up in Chandigarh, is a smashing model from Punjab. Thsi punjabi munda has the looks, demeanour and talent, all put together to make the young, old and even the disinterested to sit up and take notice. He is the interior designer and before entering the world of television had designed bungalows, hotels and offices. As a family business, he has a showroom of Italian paintings and decorations.

He has won the Mr.North Peagant and and had done 50 punjabi music videos. He had also won the Best Debutante Actor in the 8th Indian Telly Awards 2008 for his role in Sapna Babul Ka...Bidaai show.

Today, Angad Hasija, known more famously as the schizophrenic Alekh from Sapna Babul Ka' Bidaai is playing one of the most challenging, mentally-exhaustive roles on television, where always the strong-willed Tulsis and Parvatis have been ruling the roost. But now he's one handsome hunk who can sweep the floor off ur feet & melt you with his romantic avatar & intense looks. He's an awesome artist, a flawless actor & an amazing dance, a full package of powerful TALENT!👏

you may add on more pics of his.. as he was dancing for various SP programmes.. so get hold of those posters, add those video links.. as he is a good dancer.. make people aware of his talent..

Why did you sign this dance reality show?
"I am comfortable working with STAR Plus who gave me my big break on TV through the show Bidaai and I loved the unique but age old concept ladka vs. ladki, so it will be a totally a different concept overall."

How are the rehearsals going on? "It's hectic but at the same time, I am enjoying this phase and whenever I get time from my shooting, I go for the rehearsals as there is no particular fix time. I have learnt many dancing forms from our choreographers Harshall-Vithal."

Sara Khan (Sadhana) co-star of Angad Hasija said, "Everyone came to know that Angad is a fine actor after seeing his work in Bidaai, now his fans will see that he is a good dancer too. I have seen him working very hard and I am sure he is going to win the competition and I will support my on-screen husband Alekh. Whenever I get time I will go and cheer him up."

Angad Hasija AKA Alekh of STAR Plus' Sapna Babul Ka Bidaai is now debuting in the hit dance reality show Zara Nachke Dikha.

The actor feels that one pillar of his strength is his spouse, who is supporting him like doting wife with no complaints.

We spoke to Angad Hasija and this is what he said: "Only I know how I am managing both shows, but I am very thankful to the channel and both the production houses are helping me out in managing my time. In the morning my day starts with shooting on the sets of the show and my day ends rehearsing on the sets of the show. But the most important thing that keeps me going is that my wife Pari is so supportive that she gets up early in the morning to pack by dabba so that I can eat healthy food. Then she sends her second dabba (dinner) with my driver who comes on the sets of Zara Nachke Dikha. And she totally understand that when I'm back home, I'm so drained that I don't even have the energy to talk to her, and just nod off to sleep..."

He added: "It's been two weeks that I haven't spoken with her or taken her out for a nice dinner, but I can feel that she loves me so much. I feel her love in her delicious lunch and dinner."

Angad Hasija fans will have a treat this weekend, as they watch their favorite actor give ones of his best performances in Star Plus' Zara Nachke Dikha..

The day has finally arrived for all those who have been waiting with bathed breath to see a solo performance coming from the handsome dude Angad Hasija in Star Plus' Zara Nachke Dikha!!

Angad will be performing a Solo in the Thakkar Round of Zara Nachke Dikha this weekend on the contemporary dance form.

According to our source, "His solo act was very emotional and breathtaking and the judges were overwhelmed on seeing Angad excel on the dance floor. Angad got every move and position perfect, and was appreciated by all the three judges. Arshad Warsi had to literally take back his words, and say that Angad proved everyone wrong and danced like a dream getting all postures and moves perfectly".

Arshad was so elated after the performance that he joined Angad on stage and did a cartwheel with him. Angad had his on screen brother Kinshuk Mahajan and Parul Chauhan cheering him all thro' the act. His co-stars from Bidaai who had come to support Angad were equally amazed seeing his performance.

When contacted, an elated Angad told us, "Yes, my fans will get to see me performing a solo act this week. It went on very well, and the judges appreciated my performance a lot. I will be performing on the number O Soniya".

What's more, a little birdie told us that Angad got a perfect 10 from all the three judges!!

Television actor Angad Hasija of STAR Plus Sapna Babul Ka Bidaai is slowly and steadily showing his dancing prowess in yet another dance reality show Zara Nachke Dikha only on STAR Plus. The actor speaks about his newly developed passion- Dancing.

Which is your favorite dance form?
"I love contemporary, Bhangda and romantic. I love contemporary dance form because it makes our body flexible and the dance is very soft but at the same time we can feel the passion on the face of the performer. Being Punjabi I love Bhangda and I am a very romantic person so that's the reason I love romantic dance form."

Favorite song of the recent times?
"It's from Raaz 2 Soniyo'and Prem Ki Naiyya from Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani. Both these songs have different charm altogether."

Which songs you would love to dance on?
"Punjabi songs especially proper bhangda, Aahun Aahun from Love Aaj Kal and I would love to perform on Nagada from Jab We Met."

Which dance forms you would like to learn?
"Salsa. I love its moves and it is a romantic dance form, I am hoping I will learn it in the near future."

Does dancing help you to keep fit?
"Oh! Yes. In these 2 months of rehearsals I have lost almost 6 kgs of weight and I have developed abs which is amazing."

Who is your dancing icon?
"In Bollywood I love Hrithik Roshan and I hope that one day I will perform with him on stage and among the Bollywood actresses I think Madhuri Dixit is an amazing dancer."

Among the TV actors who is your favorite dancer?
"It has to be Hussain Kuwajerwala. He is so perfect in whichever dance form he does. He dances with all energy and for me on TV he is a great performer."

Angad Hasija sure knows how to make people eat their words. Earlier the judges and some other people had criticized him about his dancing, saying that he wasn't a good enough dancer.

But this week, he is all set to prove everyone wrong. He is going to perform a solo act which apparently moved the judges a lot and it is a very emotional moment for everyone. Reportedly, he got really involved in the act and danced like a dream, getting all his postures and moves perfect. He is going to perform on the song Soniyo for Raaz 2.

The judges were overwhelmed with his performance and apparently, Arshad also comes up to the stage and does a little cartwheel with Angad. They all appreciated his efforts.

Hasija also has two special pillars of support, his co-stars Kinshuk and Parul from Sapna Babul Ka… Bidaai, who came to watch him perform and cheer for him throughout the act. Kinshuk Mahajan, who plays the role of Angad's younger brother on screen said that, "Oh, he is like my brother so I have come to watch his performance, I know he is working very hard." After the performance, Parul is also heard saying, "Mind blowing performance. I am going to watch it again on TV as well." They are both amazed at how he has managed to put up such a great act without any difficulty and shooting non stop.

We spoke to Angad Hasija and he said, "I really enjoyed doing contemporary and it would be my best performance ever. Now I have come to know that hard work always gives you good results and I was more than happy to share my feelings with Kinshuk and Parul."

So does Angad really floor everyone with his performance? He has apparently won the hearts of the judges, but can he impress the audiences as well? To find out don't forget to watch Zara Nachke Dikha, this Saturday and Sunday, at 9pm, only on STAR Plus.
