Ok guys, there's a little merry-go-round game on with regards to Anurag Basu's film with Ranbir Kapoor in the lead.

Though the film is not set to start for at least 10 months reportedly, the rumour-mongering around the casting of the film has left us all confused and exhausted. The first round of rumours said that Katrina Kaif would do the film with Ranbir, then it said she was having second thoughts because Priyanka Chopra came in.

There was no clarity though on who is in, and who's out. PC said, "Katrina has immense screen presence. I can't officially comment on whether Katrina and I are in the same Anurag Basu film with Ranbir. The official announcement if and when will be made by the film corporation that is backing the project. Or Anurag himself will say it when the time is right. All I can is that I have agreed to be in a film directed by Anurag. He gave me a narration when I got back from the Anjaana Anjaani schedule and I loved the part. Katrina has been approached for another part in the same film. And, I was told that she and Ranbir are also part of the film. But honestly, I don't know whether she is doing the part or not. Like I said, I have agreed. The rest we will know eventually."

Kat has now made up her mind. She says, "I'm not part of the Anurag film opposite Ranbir." Guess all speculation should come to an end now.

Katrina talks about her recent fitness regime and how competition is not something she believes in

Katrina Kaif is turning on the April heat dressed in a short ghagra-choli for Farah Khan's Tees Maar Khan. The actress, who got temperatures soaring, courtesy the midriff she is exposing, is thrilled to bits that her body responded like a dream to her new diet and exercise regime. Kat is also excited that in 2010, she is doing films that are slated to take her several notches higher as a superstar and as a performer.

How did you get this dream body?
Kat: It took me 18 days to get into shape. My trainer Yasmin worked out a programme with a set target to look the way I am in this photograph. If you need to lose weight or get into shape, your mind and body must be co-ordinated. You have to be in a happy state while exercising. All I said to myself before getting into this short ghagra-choli is, 'I must look right for it.' The dance rehearsals were also one form of exercise. I am a fairly healthy eater. I don't eat pizzas and pakodas. I prefer Chinese and Japanese cuisine. A lot of it is fish based.

Does your contract say you will not wear a bikini?
Kat: There is no need to put these things in a contract. Obviously I discuss what I will wear and will not with my film-makers.

Kareena Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra and you are competing for the No. 1 slot.
Kat: I don't think so. If one of us can't accept a role, which the other one does because of simple things like date issues, the press makes a hullabaloo. That is part of the movie business. However, this doesn't make us arch rivals. Since there is just certain number of actresses who are marketable, certain projects keep doing the rounds. What is wrong in that? The role in Clint Eastwood's Million Dollar Baby was offered to Sandra Bullock before it went to Hillary Swank. I don't see anyone in Hollywood creating a drama or hysteria about it. Here in Bollywood, people try to make it seem like we are kids in the playground.

So how do you choose the projects you do?
Kat: I have got a good feeling about the projects I have accepted this year. Tees Maar Khan, Zoya Akhtar's Running with the Bulls, Tarun Mansukhani's Dostana-2, Anurag Basu's film with Ranbir Kapoor and Prakash Jha's Raajneeti are all films that I think are right for me. I go by my gut feel.
