Hey People. Well, since my exams get over in like 2 days, and I'll be having like 4 months holidays, I am gonna be going on a book reading spree. Well, wuthering heights was one book which I never understood, as i read the unabridged version when i was just like 11 years old.😆 But I plan to read it again. I would like to hear what you all have to say about this particular book. Have you read it? Is it good enough, or I can let it pass?

I have it and I've read it.

I hated it.
I mean okay I know it was supposed to be showing "When Love Goes Wrong" but still. I hated it. I hated Catherine. She was so whiny and so moany. Okay I don't want to spoil it for you.
And a lot of my friends absolutely loved it.
So.
Okay that was no help at all was it?

I understand that 'I love it' will not help you. Hope this helps.
Wuthering Heights is an intense story about love. You may find it a bit slow in the beginning because it was written at a time when people had more time to read books and hence there was space for the writer to explore a lot of ideas. However, if you go on reading it is possible that you will become lost in the world of the moor, in the world of Catherine and Heathcliff, and their passionate love for each other. Will not tell you any more about the story 😊

I love Catherin because she was the one to understand the necessities of moving away from Heathcliff.......I adore Heathcliff and hate him at the same time as well.

"...If all else perished and he remained i will continue to be but if all else remained and he were annihilated, the world would become a stranger."
-WUTHERING HEIGHTS (Catherine voices the above quote)

Wuthering Heights is truly a very complex book with complex characters and further complex situations. Its actually a strange book and surly a masterpiece at it by Emily Bronte. I find the protagonist of this novel rather very intriguing ..its an amazing character drawn. All I can say is its worth a read but if you want a 'feel good ' or' lived happily ever after' type romance then give this a skip....its a dark romance if I may can term it

Actually, I remember we read it in our high school. I do like the book and I would recommend reading it. Though, it is not a book that everyone would enjoy. There is romance, but there is also tragedy.
It's an intense love story and though, I don't enjoy reading love stories that much, I liked the book. It's not too long either, so you can probably finish it in a day or two. 😃
