@ksh: Don't tempt me woman! 😆 And I think Supriya will bother me no matter what frame she's in. I hate her stupidity and her insensitivity - the fact that she's doing it all with Dutta is a minor detail to me. If she was being this retarded with someone else too, I'd be just as annoyed with her. Seriously! I hate insensitive jerk who think they are always right! 🤬

Sups really acted weird in the past 2 epis...sometimes it seems as if she really is in love with datta. 🤔

@ksh: She's a little "child" - absolutely flaky in her "feelings". When she first came to Dutta's house she was scared of him. Then her mavali came along and she adopted his outlook and started hating Dutta. i wouldn't be surprised now, if through all this shadi hungama where Dutta's getting to be the center of attention and adoration she decides to adopt their "approach" too. She has no character of her own - no personality. 🤢

@ksh: Tum jaa rahi ho na! Just make sure you trip her in front of a moving truck like I asked you to - we'd all be home free! 🤣 And while you're at it give a tight thapar to the mavali too! How dare he pimp his girlfriend he's supposed to love? Disgusting!

Fivr...lately we have been in sync...and I think this was ur most in sync TIN.

  • Okay, Dutta is definitely debating with himself - he's trying to decide what the right thing to do is. And throughout all this decision making, he does not feel any "love" for the girl. His expression is one of "serious contemplation" and not once do I see a hint of "awed affection" - he is just trying to decide if he should believe her and/or care for her (picture below). It's all very calculated.
Couldnt agree more...its just not love. If it was love he wouldnt have needed to think so much.

Picture #1

Picture #2

Serious contemplation OR awed love? That is the question...

Doesn't he look "exhausted" with pain? Like he has had SO much of it that he can't even react to it anymore? *sigh*

  • And he'd THOUGHT that he'd be used to it by now, he'd really thought so. But as soon as her questions and taunts flooded his mind, Dutta was agitated AGAIN - this time not because he couldn't stand being vulnerable but because at some level he feels that it was all true. To some extent, Dutta feels that he wasn't and isn't good enough to be loved and cared about - Seema SAID it then and it was unexpected, but now that he thinks back (after 10 years of torment) he's begun to believe her claims of him not being good enough. And that bothers him - he moves around and shakes his head as if trying to prevent the thoughts from ENTERING his mind or trying to get those that entered to FALL OUT of his mind. *sigh* He really is like a duck in a pond - calm and controlled on the surface, but frantically flapping his arms/legs to stay "afloat" under water.
I agree...he seriously doesnt think he's good enuf to be loved. 10 years ago because he wasnt capable enuf to provide a woman good things in life...and now that he is capable of that but his methods have made him more unloveable if possible.

  • Aayi Sahib smiles at Dutta - Dutta takes a seat - Dutta smiles at Aayi Sahib. *sigh* That was the most "honest" smile I've ever seen from Dutta Bhao! It was soft and it was "content" - Dutta Bhao was with his mother. You could tell just by that smile. SO heartwarming! 😃
Isn't this the most "happy" and "content" smile ever? Seriously?! *sigh*
  • When Aayi Sahib asked Dutta if he wouldn't lay in her lap again, Dutta smiled. He was genuinely happy at the idea of being in his mother's lap - the ONE place where he was always safe and happy. But as soon as he rests his head in her lap, he is overwhelmed by emotions - once in her lap, he's his mother's son (vulnerable and in pain). *sigh* It was heart breaking to see Dutta go from this:

Pleased with the idea of laying in his mother's lap

to this:

Tormented and vulnerable

until finally, to this:

Once the initial wave of emotions washed over, a slight remnant of a smile passed across his face.
  • As Aayi Sahib talks about their past, Dutta has the most "dead" look on his face - it was as though he was seeing" everything Aayi Sahib was talking about and with EVERY "sight" his heart was broken into a million more pieces. There was no other trace of "emotion" on his face - just a look of silent but INTENSE cry of pain. He didn't even BLINK (let alone SHOW his pain) as though he was "stunned" into silence by the intensity of his hurting heart - the only hint of his torment were the occasional tears that dropped from his eyes and slid down his nose. It was like he was fortifying himself and trying prevent himself from breaking down because of the intense, overwhelming emotions. That was by far the most painful thing I've ever seen.

*sigh*

I agree...he was totally genuine with Aai...any Datta bhao defenses he has up in front of anyone else was gone. And he was simply his mother's son.
  • Once Aayi Sahib starts blaming herself, Dutta is disturbed - up until the discussion was based on "him" and "his mistakes" he was listening quietly and submissively. But the minute Aayi Sahib tries to share the blame, Dutta is immediately bothered. He slowly lifts his head off her lap and looks up at her - only to find her crying and that leaves him speechless for a moment. But within moments he finds his voice again and he tells his Aayi that this wasn't her fault - that if anything she and his sisters kept him humane in such a monstrous business! *sigh* I know I've said this before, but I love how Dutta rushes to protect anyone (from himself or from someone else) with complete disregard of how it might affect him. As long as HE is the only one getting hurt in an arrangement, he'll put up with it. But the minute someone else gets a part of that unfair pain, he isn't going to stand for it. *sigh*
Yes....I love him for that..whatever he had done was HIS decision. his family wasnt going to take the blame for it.

  • When Aayi Sahib claimed that every mother desires for a son like Dutta, did anyone notice how Dutta looks away? Like he didn't think he was worthy of that compliment and so couldn't look at her while she said it (because that would mean he accepted it and he couldn't take credit for someone he didn't think he was.). So I totally noticed it - unless I've lost my mind totally! 😆
He thinks he's a monster...a son no one would want. poor guy!
  • When Aayi Sahib suggests that he asks the mothers whose sons Dutta's saved, Dutta looks back at his Aayi with such a surprised and questioning look - like he hadn't even considered that and he didn't even realize that THAT could be true. It was like he was hearing how much "good" he'd done for the first time - and that thought surprised him (to know that he was actually a "good" person too). And he totally looked like he was trying to "decide" what to make of this "compliment" - if it was "good enough" or not, to let him off the hook (in his mind, though).
Whatever good he does...he doesnt really stop to think "I am doing good". its natural...he doesnt find he's done something extra-ordinary. it was right so it had to be done. and anyone else in his place would do the same.

Does he not look like he's "judging" himself? 🤔

  • When Aayi Sahib suggested that Dutta would find someone who'd be willing to share his pain and her happiness, you could see something "click" inside Dutta - like he'd finally made sense of something. I think THAT is when he decided that Supriya's "wrist slashing" action was her proof of determination to share her life with him (Totally thank ksh's friend for helping me make sense of that!). Now he finally knew how to "classify" what she'd done - she was trying to share his pain (albeit by inflicting more pain on herself). And I feel that's when a vague "picture" started to emerge from all the confusion in his head - one that showed him a better future. *sigh*
  • Dutta's lost in thoughts as his Aayi talks about him getting happiness and a full life - but the minute she talks about herself not being a competent mother Dutta shifts visible showing his (silent) protest to her assumption (of not being a good mother). He really cares for her alot! And I like that!
Yes...it was Aai who finally turned the tide in Sups favor.

  • Once Dutta begins to realize the "similarities" in the situation (the steps being symbolic for one) he began to notice the contrasting qualities of the situation too - while then he had "money" in his pocket to help start a new life, now he carried around a gun that took away lives. YET he was still the same Dutta - I loved how it was portrayed by Dutta Bhao mirroring Dutta Patil's actions (wiping the sweat of the brow). Like they were trying to show that in spite of all the differences and all the similarities between THEN and NOW, Dutta Patil still lives within Dutta Bhao (and shows himself from time to time). *sigh*
  • I loved Mishal's expressions as Dutta Bhao caught himself "wiping" the sweat off his brow - he was surprised at what he was doing and that surprise was quickly replaced by awed realization. He was STILL the same - and he was realizing that now.
Well said!
  • And when she realizes that her pain cannot be "fixed", she decided to distance herself from the memories that cause her pain. So she collects her teddy bear and her dupatta and she places it inside a case - she didn't "destroy" the things (like other protagonists too - which if you ask me is way too dramatic!). She simply places them "safely" away - somewhere where she can't see them and be reminded of what she's losing. It hurt her to put them away, but it would hurt her even more to have them around. And she needed to do this if she was going to "move on" for Dutta's sake. And once she closes the lid to the case, she just "collapses" next to it - as though that had drained her of any remaining energy she might have had. *sigh*
I am glad she didnt...it wudnt have been fair to destroy those things. they were never given with any intention of fooling naku. the feelings with which they were given to naku still exist and prolly are stronger today.

  • When Nakku turned to find Dutta, she did not look surprised - it was like she'd almost expected him to be there. Did anyone else think so too? I totally did. 🤔
  • "Tujhe bhi neend nahi aa rahi?" - Dutta did not tell his mother even when she asked him that he couldn't sleep. He had side stepped that question by asking Aayi Sahib why she was still up. But with Nakku, he jumps to tell her right away - so much that he ASSUMES that she'd know he couldn't sleep too. *sigh* So much right on each other that they even expect each other to know how they feel. *sigh* 😍

  • I loved how Dutta went "Hmm?" as he looked for Nakku's approval when he told her that she'd asked him to life a fresh. As though he wanted to make sure that she's REALLY said it - her CORRECT opinion mattered to him. *sigh*
Yes he simply jumped to tell her. all along she'd been telling him and now that he's finally decided that he'd do what she told she HAD to know first. I can totally understand that. I keep doing that myself.
  • In the last scene everything was so "tied in" that I couldn't talk about it separately and make sense too. Dutta was SO optimistic about his life ahead - we've always known him to be a guy who does everything with a whole-hearted effort. This is exactly why I was not surprised when Dutta was so genuinely hopeful of his "better" future. He'd finally found a girl who'd tried to prove her determination to share his pain in the face of his rejection (at least he think so!). And THAT thought pleased him and AWED him at the same time - especially when he talks about finding that girl who "apnaa"-ed his "dard". He was totally in awe then - like he could not believe it was happening. He could NOT believe. But he had thought about this - Nakku and Aayi Sahib, the two important women in his life (whether he knows it or not) had approved of his relationship with Supriya and even encouraged it. If THEY were telling him it was okay, then he had to give it another chance - if his gut was the only thing warning him otherwise, then he had to silence it because it could just be him being "cautious" due to his past. I LOVE how Dutta portrayed it - from his hesitation (in the earlier episodes) to his confusion and now to his acceptance. It was perfect! 😃
very true...i loved how they transitioned his thinking.
  • Haye, Nakku - She was so happy for Dutta because he was happy. But every time her happiness for Dutta even went down for a MOMENT, her awful pain crept back in and you could see her expression change. As Dutta told her about his happiness and his "better future", Nakku was actually genuinely happy for him. I did not see her "strain" to be happy - she was really happy. But then as he paused for a few moments and his happiness took a "back seat" (if only for a moment) you could quickly see a hurt expression spread across her face (as though she was reminded of her unrequited love). But just as quickly as it came, it leaves! And she'd back to being absolutely happy for Dutta. When Dutta talked about his life "changing" THAT night, you could see Nakku look away as she tried to keep the sudden burst of emotion at bay. Similarly when Dutta tells her that he's going to share his pain with Supriya, Nakku again shows a FLASH of pain - that vanishes in a split second. So, honestly, I really feel that she's genuinely happy. She isn't trying or faking - she is happy for him and that takes precedent over her pain. It's only when his happiness isn't on the forefront of her mind that she realizes how much pain she's in. Or so I thought.
  • I loved how, as Dutta walked away, Nakku had a smile on her face for HIS happiness but tears in her eyes for HER pain. *sigh*
Naku...naku...poor girl she seemed to have turned into a zombie or maybe a doll...who smiles on cue but her eyes are lifeless. too bad that datta didnt notice that. but i hope he does soon. she's helped him out of his pain...he must atleast recognize she's in pain too.
