Epi #27 No more Maalik

PART 1

DM asks for everyone's attention, he says that he believes he could do justice to this chair and there were occasions when he felt reluctant to sit there and had asked Santu to do the nyay as he felt he might not be able to justice against his family. A judge should be brave enough to go even against his own family and must hold on to only justice. But now his own family has let him down. He looks at Santu and says he couldn't protect his own family and that he failed to protect their pride as well. He feels its time that he steps down from this chair. He announces "Today Dharamraj Mahiyavanshi announces that this was his last verdict sitting on this chair of Justice and from now onwards there will not be the post of The Maalik of Dharampur. The Maalik of D'pur is no more and Dharamraj Mahiyavanshi will just be the Maalik of Mahiyavanshi Diamond Works." He looks back at Santu asking for support and she gives a smile back and close her eyes in assurance.

PART 2

Villagers ask him why this sudden decision and ask him to revert his decision and not to leave them. He raises his hands to stop. He says he the factory maalik will always be there and they can approach him anytime but this public trial will not be there. Now onwards the panchayat will decide on any issues. Villagers can come with complaints in the panchayat and the panchayat will decide on the civil cases and the bigger crimes will be handed over to the police. The monopoly of the Mahiyavanshi family is over. They are just another family in Dharampur and will not be judging the villagers fate. The mukhya ask him why there is a need for him to step down as no one asked him to. DM says no one asked him but he himself feel its time for the big change and he has decided it and wont change it. He thanks everyone for their support and he says he is always there for their help. He turns to the chair and keep his pagdi on it, and joins his hands at the villagers and says good bye. He turns towards Santu, she comes forward and they come down the steps followed by the family. Sanraj gets into the car, Santu holds his hand and they smile at each other, the car moves forward.

PART 3

DM sitting on the sofa, BB and Hiral right there. Bansuri helps Champa in the kitchen. Santu brings tea for everyone. Baa asks DM why did he decide to quit. DM looks at her and says you know it baa. I failed to manage his ghar and how can he decide the villagers fate. He better be off from it. Kaddu standing at the steps. Shanky enter the house with Nandini and he greets everyone. He tells DM to let Nandini go with him to Ahmedabad and he thinks NOW Kaddu will not have any problem, and he gives a sharp look at her. Baa ask him to sit. She asks him if he can accept Kaddu atleast for Nandini's sake. DM says he know that Meghna can be the best mother for her granddaughter and there is no need to force Shanky on a relation with Kaddu anymore. DM tells Shanky that he can take his daughter with him and Kadambari will not oppose this. Kaddu has nothing to say but cry.

PART 4

Shanky goes to Kaddu and says he doesn't know if she ever trusted him or not, but he had always loved her and only she can be his wife. Its his failure that he couldn't gain his wife's trust but he assures her that if ever SHE thinks that she can trust him, she may come back to his life. But he is not ready to accept her right now, he might need more time to make sure that she will not do the mistake again. He says he is sure that his mom will not let Nandini feel that she is away from her mother. He says good bye to everyone and looks back at Kaddu and smiles at her. He asks Nandini to ask permission from her mom. Nandini asks Kaddu if she can go with papa. Kaddu cries and hugs her. She says yes she can, and ask her to be nice with her dada-dadi. Nandini says thank you mom and she says good bye to everyone and runs to Shanky and they leave.
